Please fix the broken CTRL-key functionality next? It's a little thing, but annoying as hell. Team BorkTheUI has done its job too well and could use some love from BFF.
(See this post for details if need be on the Ctrl-key.) ___________________________________

Excelent CCP Soundwave - thanks.
Small annoying stuff: Make comma on my numeric keyboard act like a period, thus no more trouble when entering prices.

Quote: We've added more default overviews. Instead of having "default" and "mining, you'll now have "general", "pvp", "WarpTo", "loot", "mining", "drones" and "all". Hell yes.
Hell yes. More useless noobs who can`t even adjust overview settings using their own brain \o/
Quote: The quality of anomalies will depend on the systems truesec - the better the truesec, the better the spawns.
High- low-sec anomalies are now useless? I mean they are already useless, but now there will be new korean random generator for spawns?
Quote: Your personal ship fittings are going to be stored on the server, giving you the same functionality available to corp fittings. This means access to your personal fittings, regardless what computer you're using.
At last!
But you forgot about smallest little thing that many of us requested since character creator release. Please add option to turn off portraits caching in local window. Portraits. Thousands of thousands of them SSD users is also crying.

Edited by: Arturo Vetronas on 15/03/2011 16:38:53 uh-mazing, thank you
in the same jist of things i have a couple of suggestions, i know there are other places for them but i'm here now and these suggestions are particularly closely related to the specific changes in this blog
1) joining fleets with intact squads: inviting squad member still returns 'person in fleet already' but inviting squad leader prompts leader with option to join fleet with squad and fill an available squad spot prioritized by: wing commander in place > no wing commander in place > new wing without wing commander addendum: fleet commander of the fleet being joined should have an additional option below 'move member' when right clicking the squad leader spot (filled or unfilled) that says 'move squad' and that squad leader, with squad intact, gets moved to whichever squad position leader chooses, **including** first squad position of a new wing (provided there is room for another wing)
2)Make the color of blueprint copies' icons red, or green, or orange, or a significantly different shade of blue... prettyprettyprettypretty please alternatively leave the copy color blue (since those are dealt with in much larger quantites) and change the BPO color to silver or gold or something
...goes to post in suggestions thread as token penance

Been requesting this for the past 4 CSM terms, turns out it's complicated, and for good reasons... Read the meeting minutes for an answer (I think the best answer is in the CSM 3 meeting minutes, but I could be mistaken). I won't stop requesting this until they figure out a way however :p
Also, good work CCP, happy to see the little fixes coming :-)

These "little tweaks" are doing more to improve the average eve player experience than a dozen 'big feature expansions' would. Do more of this thing, less of that other thing, and you will have a very happy set of players.

Thanks for that. Small stuff matters!
Here are a couple annoying things that seem like easy 'fixes':
- When making a bookmark the generic text in the bm name field needs to be pre-selected, so that you can type over it without having to first select it.
- When people join the fleet, or move around in it, the fleet window auto scrolls to the top. This makes it very difficult to do anything with the contents of that window. This does not happen to other windows with dynamic content and needs to stop. ...

> Since boarding a ship to strip it is too much work, we've added the ability to strip fittings from unpiloted ships.
I'm assuming this is only in stations, not in SMAs or in space?
> NPC jamming has been updated and streamlined. They should all work with the same functionality and you can fit countermeasures. In other news, jamming NPCs are still annoying.
Thank you. I don't mission against Guristas much, but when I do this is a *****.

Now only if we have the same server side options for saving the current chat channels and overview settings that you have on the pc. Instead of going to another pc and having to do all over again the settings.

The cost of any given small defect is minor. The aggregate cost of many small defects is greater than their sum, however. I'm glad CCP is realizing this, and realizing that when the user experience is fluid and natural, people will keep coming back happy to hand over their cash (see: Apple, even as much as I dislike their business model). --------------------------------------------- U.S. Diplomat Cryo Innovations

Please enable scroll locking of chat windows.
In other chat systems, such as mIRC and MSN, if I scroll up an active chat window, even if it is just by one line, that window no longer scrolls down as new lines are added. In this way, I can easily "lock" the window before leaving the computer, and then come back and resume reading, without having to scroll up and find the place where I left.
I don't know what the thingie is called formally, but it's the collection of dots showing the systems in m y autopilot sequence, e.g. dark green, light green, yellow, dark green. This shows 2 pieces of information: How many jumps I have left, and if any jumps are into dangerous (less than 0.5) systems.
These dots used to be organized vertically. Now they're no longer dots (which I'm cool with) and they're organized horizontally. I don't like that, because when I'm autopiloting in high-sec I'll often be chatting, maybe in "Help" or corp chat, and so the chat window will cover the rightmost portion of this "travel bar".
Please orient the travel-colour bar vertically again.
