Sounds like you are about to nerf the **** out of 0.0.
Or are you actually buffing it?
If it is the first, you are pretty much ****ing all the alliances that have populated the areas that were worthless pre-dominion.

Just to add:
I think true sec should be dynamic - i.e. the space that goes unfarmed should decrease in truesec over time until it hits -1, to represent pirate day to day activity rather than player activity.

I have seen this idea before, and i still think it is terrible. With agent quality that is a good idea imo. With 0.0 truesec it just means you actively promote making 0.0 one large wasteland with as few people in it as possible, instead of promoting the usage of the space and having people actually live in 0.0 instead of pvp in 0.0 and run high sec lvl 4 missions.

NO. Blobs make this game boring - and unplayable... You are just adding to the problem.
Equal value space = many small entities fighting. Most of 0.0 useless again = Massive lag blobs fighting for the few worthwhile bits.
.. I hardly ever even do anoms, I am just worried about the consequences of this change.

Anyway.. CCP:.. since NPC jamming always worked like this.. can you answer what you changed.
as proven here
I assume you will just say nothing and keep pretending you finally "fixed" something and pat yourself on the back. But.. come on? Fess up already!

This is all kinds of awesome.
A request... My alliance and I would be very grateful if you could make it so that pos manufacturing/research/refining was actually available for alliance use as opposed to the pseudo available that we have now where you can not access bays and thus can not do anything. I my fellow w-space players/alliances would also like this.

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little....
Originally by: Jindokai All these sound great,
I would like to request something though, a way of telling the owner of a corpse without needed to *show info* on it.. for those of us who have.... lots of corpses, and they are all identical, and you try and find just one to link to them for funzies it can be quite hard. Maybe show their name when you hover over the corpse icon, or maybe allow them to be ordered alphabetically by name? its not much, but could save potentially 10's of minutes of searching if you can really be bothered!
otherwise, looking forward to these fix's

Bingo....to bad CCP doesn't seem to realize that...
If this thought were true then wouldn't someone be working hard to knock out the NC tech advantage...but due to mechanics blobs etc it isn't happening. They have a greater chance of dying from internal conflict than anything else.
I think CCP has abandoned the thought of getting more folks to 0.0 because everything they do moves against it. Unless they hope that the power blocks will stop claiming the poor 0.0 systems to allow others come in, but it won't work just like the Dominion changes didn't work because they don't seem to grasp the very basic and fundamental thought of EVE, Might makes Right. When you have the Might to remove anyone from a system near you at will, then whatever you say goes. So they'll demand rents/extortion/fees etc and those not paying them will be quickly removed. Thus this step will only promote the status quo nothing more, except to remove possibly more real people from 0.0 as they can't keep up with the botters on paying rents.

Sounds like a great bunch of fixes!
I'm just wondering though whether the extra "default" overview settings will also mean we can have more overview tabs?
Running a widescreen and an overview with a bunch of columns means I've got room for about 3-4 more tabs! Would be great to be able to use that dead space. |

Most of the changes looks like great stuff, except for the anom's depending on the truesec.
It will be a devastating blow to every 0.0 entity inhabiting every region, besides delve and fountain.
Rethink this, please!

If you are going to connect anomalies to true sec: you will make a BIG part of eve 0.0 not usefull for playing in anymore, even high sec mining will give more profit.....
I have the feeling: you have zero understanding how your own 0.0 game works. I have the feeling, you are only looking on 1 variable, instead of looking on tons of variables, that are connected. 0.0 is NOT equal at all. Travel time, numbers of midpoints, which connections do u have with low sec, in general the logistics are making regions totally different.
Now you also got the weird system, that a lot of really really bad true sec systems, are also very far away from high sec and require 5 to 8 midpoints. If you connect anomaly quality to the true sec in these spots, you are kicking tons of small alliances OUT OF THE GAME. Those systems, where the smaller alliances built up the indice by spending a lot of efford into it and then try to make the best of their spot, become too costly to upgrade then with their new lower income, the logistic cost and risks will also get too high. (I do assume, upgrading cost and maintaining indice cost wont be touched, because its my experience, that CCP never thinks about how changes effect other things in game, and that has been proven since 2004....)
If you go ahead with this dumb idea, it would be wise, to also connect upgrade cost/pos fuel cost, (jumpfuel cost), maintaining cost also to true sec. Better true sec=higher cost, lower true sec=lower costs. At least you would reduce the damage then to smaller alliances)
But where can those smaller alliances then go instead? There wont be space left for them anymore.
The current soev system is a total joke already. It only made the game tougher for smaller alliances, it made the game TOO EASY for bigger alliances, instead of really shooting down tons of posses, they now only need to grab a part of their members for some hours to win a "campaign", its mostly a slaugher game, where the smaller alliance has no chance in hell to even give some competition anymore.
Nowadays you barely see any worthwhile defences anymore, with suggestion as this crazy idea, you will see them even less.
