Originally by: Rhys Onasi Currently, NPC ECM is a set chance. Each rat has a set chance every cycle to jam you - period. No matter how much ECCM you put on it wouldn't matter, they didn't use the strength formulas. 50% Jam chance? Always 50%, no matter what you did.
This is incorrect. Thorough player experiments have proven that fitting ECCM does help against PVE jamming.

Quote: We've added the system name to outposts, so you know where you're buying from. This will hopefully prevent me from buying items in hostile stations while drunk.
Please no.
Quote: Since boarding a ship to strip it is too much work, we've added the ability to strip fittings from unpiloted ships.
How about an easier way to check the fittings instead of viewing the contents and/or boarding? Something like a "View in fitting window" option. And not allowing to alter fits unless you're in it.
Quote: 0.0 truesec will now be displayed in the same way empire truesec is. Since this information is basically available to anyone with the internet (that means you)
This is making things too easy, anyone who's interested in that should just check dotLan. Too many give outs and you guys might as well publicize what moons have what goo so nobody has to scan them.

I cant help but wonder with CCPs track record how much of 0.0 space they are gonna make virtually useless again by changing anomalies.
A little info for the devs (sorry not much faith in them): Every anomaly besides havens and sanctums are worthless. Decreasing the amount of good anomalies only increases the amount of space the large powerblocks need, reducing the ability for smaller entities to survive. So if it goes from 4 havens to 4 sanctums depending on sec status i guess it would be acceptable (minus that i am pretty sure that would on average be a nerf), not even having havens anymore would make the space useless, decreasing the amount of anomalies just makes sure powerblocks grab more space.

These "little things" are inordinately pleasing. Great stuff!
btw, I also loved the change to the route indicator, distance-searching assets, and other small changes that have been made recently.
In short, I'm a fan of Team BFF.

So the sov cost for upgraded systems will ofcourse also be cheaper the lower the true sec is.. right? |

While your messing with the fittings, can we also have more than 50 corp fittings? If you want to have a couple of fittings for most types of ships then 50 is a bit too little.

this. if you increase sanctums and havens and reduce all teh other ****ty ones thats fine, but if you reduce sanctums and havens in a fully upgraded systems it will make 0.0 a waste land again

One of the blessings of being a CSM is we get to hear about some things ahead of time.
But the greatest curse is that we can't talk about them.
This is particularly the case with Team BFF's hit list. All I can tell you is, if you think this stuff is good, wait until you see what they're currently working on.
I particularly like the item that ends with a profane comment about how useful it would be.
Way to go, Team BFF!

Yes, wellà
The thing about this is that test have shown that it already works (kind of) like this. ECCM already works against NPC jamming. People have even been able to approximate the jamming strength of different.
àso I'm kind of wondering what's actually going on with this "change". ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

Can Team BFF please look into the exporting feature of the fitting manager? By default it selects all your fittings to be exported ( i have like 100) and is very annoying to manually uncheck all but one of them

You can always export them all, and inport just one of them wherever it is that you want. On EFT, they are all unchecked by default.
But i agree. ____________
