I also must say, this tool is INVALUABLE to us. I have spent hours upon hours upon hours researching fitting options for various scenarios on EFT.
Is there a way we can change the base stats of ships in EFT, such as mass and inertia, or change base stats for modules (nanofibers in particular)? Until those are updated in a new patch, I could really use correct stats for those things, and if I could update my own EFT, that would be a big help.

Overheat and Claymore range bonuses to scramblers/disruptors and webs are stacking penalized ingame. This is not the case in EFT.

The DPS Graph doesn't seem to be working correctly when missiles are concerned. I've tried moving the sliders for transversal, changing AB for MWD, turning off webs and on, and nothing is changing the damage that the graph shows for missile damage inflicted on a target. I was wondering if I was maybe doing something wrong? I've loved using this graph and was looking forward to seeing the effect missile's new Explosion Velocities and Damage Reduction Factors had on targets. You can run, but you'll just die tired... |

I`ve been using the new EFT Version now, and i must say, its awesome. I really like it.
But i stumbled upon a value on the Missile Charge Information window called "Damagereductionfactor". So i`ve been wondering, what does it do ?

Did you make the changes to your setup, and then delete/add the ship to the graph? That worked for me. I don't think the graph will auto-update the stats once the attacker/defender have been added...

speed seems to have a fault.
the speed does not modify when I change the fleet commander.
So eg. my destroyer was 1283m/s without fleet commander settings, and 1283m/s with lvl 5 fleet commander settings.
any ideas?

Version 2.9.1 changes: - Ship base speed changes were missing. This has been resolved.
if that's the case, I already have 2.9.1

It is working correctly, as it is set up, although it is a bit confusing. The way the DPS graph works is that it always assumes that both ships are moving at full speed -- the only thing the sliders do is determine how much of that speed is perpendicular to the two ships (i.e. contributing to transversal). Therefore, a transversal of 0% doesn't mean the ship is moving at 0 m/s, but rather it is moving at full speed, just directly toward/away from you. Since missiles only worry about raw speed, and not transversal, sliding the transversal slider makes no effect on the DPS.
That said, perhaps it would be useful to have the sliders affect the overall speed as far as missiles are concerned, so you can see what sort of damage you would inflict (or take) at different speeds (because we can't always go full speed). One way to sort of estimate what slower speeds would have is to just stick a webifier on the projected effects on the target ship, and that will at least show you the damage taken at 40-50% of max speed.
