Left click the green arrow next to an active module to turn it off (click the red "x" that appears in the green arrow's stead to turn it back on).
That turns it on and off. It doesn't offline the module completely, a reasonably common tactic with MWDs.

use CTRL+Left click to offline a module (it does say so if you hover over the on/off switch)... be sure to click in that area and not on the module name. ----- I reject your reality and substitute my own! |

Big thanks for that. Never thought what somebody is still using highcolor modes. I was able to reproduce this bug and it will help me to fix it.

Imho it would be better to use the lowest resist rather than an average for this. Or better yet, show effective armor/shield HP for every resistance seperately in the resistance fields. And please put the info directly into the field, not into tooltips. There is so much unused screen real estate there, and having so much info only in tooltips which cant be displayed all at once is less than optimal imho.
There is no 'n' in turret There is no 'r' in faction There is no 'a' in Scorpion There is no 'e' in Caldari There is no makeup in rogue drones |

Originally by: Redora Wow. I used this once after I saw your post, and I'll have to play with it more, but thus far I much prefer it to QuickFit...Much shorter startup time. A prettier interface and I prefer the functionality of the interface with Drag and Drop module fuitting, the much less cluttered feel and look of the relevant information, and not to mention the wonderful images that make it much easier to simply glance at the statistics for this fit, and get the immediate picture (Again preferable to tabbing through multiple windows to find my optimal/RoF/Damage mod and then back to see how Change X affected Stat Y in Manner Z....) and the multiple ship-fitting windows is incredible. I LOVE the import functionality, now I'm no longer repeatedly saving XML files from EveMon (Not a HUGE hassle, but definitely nice when I realize I have to update :D)
A few things I see that can be improve (IMO): --The 'info box' that pops up when I hover my cursor over a specific area (Defense, firepower, etc.) should be a part of that display, instead of just a fleeting tooltip. --A quick name-change of all the faction ammos so the two equivilant factions are represented (Serpentis/Guristas for hybrid ammo, for instance.) --A damage breakdown by TYPE as well as drones/guns.
This almost says it all Fantastic alternative/replacement for QF I really like the easy way to change affecting skills of a particular module. Keep up the good work...i have yearned for a non-java alternative.

Looks good so far :) I found two things that don't seem right though.
Firstly I have a Cerb that I use for missions. I can run the shield booster/hardeners for ever. EFT reports I can only run them for 3 and a bit minutes before running out of cap.
Eve shows my capacitor as 1405 as does EFT but then my recharge is shown as 190 sec. EFT shows it as 273.8.
Cerb in eve Same setup in EFT
The other one I found I would guess could be a rounding issue. I have a sniping eagle and I can't actually fit it the same as I have in game. I need about 0.3 more cpu on EFT!! I don't have the details with me right now but I'll get them and post the info laster
One other question, what does the sustained and reinforced bits mean under the shield icon?

Great work. Unfortunately not very good for linux users. It works withWINE but interface get screwed. Any chance of opening the source so people (liek me) coudl work on tuning it to work better in wine? or even make a linux version?

Best fitting tool availiable!
I love that tank indicator!!! On thing I would request would be an 'expected damage ratio' slidebar.
Right now the tanking indicator shows average tanking ability and it assumes you are getting equal percentages from each damage type.
However, some people would like to see how their tank would hold up vs kin/them only. Some would like to see how it would hold up vs. EM/therm.
There is already individual tanking values availiable. Instead of adding them together and dividing by 4, 4 different slider bars for different damage types to change percentage of different damages in total. An omni tank would be tested vs %25 in each while a Guristas mission runner would put %70kin %30 thermal and 0 to others.
I know....a very silly request...I'm more than happy with current layout and I already have a datasheet to do this calculation.
Uh....and the ability to fit multiple weapons at once. Dragging them one by one is time consuming.
Once again, thanx for this tool! |

Under wine i get this message fixme:imagelist:ImageList_DrawIndirect ILS_ALPHA: unimplemented!
And all icons get porked. Seems an issue with alpha. I will make an imagemagic scrip to remove all alpha en raeplace with the color used in backgroudn at specific location. maybe it solves the issues on linux

Edited by: Leeloo Lamenti on 12/07/2007 17:42:32 Where are the carebear mods? For ****s and giggles I want to fit some exhumers and there are no stripminers or ice harvesters.
Also - please re-enable the maximize button on the MDI child windows. There's no real reason why a user shouldn't be allowed to fill the child MDI area.
Other than that - great tool.
