Great Job Gripen
I just want to ask if it's possible to give more info in the copy to clipboard file? As: <Ship Name>
<Slot> <Item used> ...

I can't tell if this idea has been posted, but one feature I would personally love would be to have the ability to copy an individual ship setup window to the clipboard, like as a bitmap. Better yet, have EFT save the ship setup window as a PNG directly (maybe use the setup name as the fielname?). That would make posting screenshots of setups very easy.
Great tool, by the way!

Playing around with gang-links it appears some of them are not working.
Shield Efficiency and Active Shielding are not adding their bonuses to shield reps, though Shield Harmonizing is working fine.
I may be wrong of course and simply messing something up (though I assume I'm not a complete nub since harmonizing is working fine).

This has probably been suggested already, but I can't bother to read 24 pages..
Very fine program, but it really needs some way to export a ship setup, including all the modules, drones, charges, stats, etc (formatted text would be fine).
Also, maybe add a quick menu listing the setups you have, instead of having to go through the ship list every time.
Overall, very good work.

Yes it is.
Neat tool. Have you considered rewriting in Windows .NET? Theoretically you can possibly expand on this with the capabilities with use of the Office Suite...like Excel and such. Just thought of this to open up some imagination.

Just a minor nitpick, but I see "EFT v2.3" uses *2.4 as "peak recharge" multiplier for both shield and capacitor. It's been tested and confirmed several times that the PEAK multiplier is in fact x2.5, not x2.4 Sure, if you do "alphastrike" your own capacitor via huge-consumption modules, you want to use less than x2.5 for calculations, as you go past the peak recharge area relatively fast... still, EFT doesn't list the "true" peak values, as I think it should... Like I said, just a minor nitpick. _

hi there, and thanks for this tool, it's really great !
I'd like to aks for some improvements , or new features so here they are , as is :)
- There's no way to know our drone control range , could be nice to add this value to the drones show info or near the targeting range value.
- Exporting/importing a setup should be one of the first feature we have on such a software imho :). currently all setups for a ship are embedded in one single ship file, so copy/paste the file will replace all ships setups.
- Some ships are able to do mining and fighting at the same time. Why not separating the mining yeld and dps values ? there's some room :)
- PvE players like me like very much the resistance presets to optimize their tank. Why not adding the same for the resistances npcs have in order to have a better idea of which kind of weapon we should use ? (a non skilled projectile weapon will perhaps be preferable instead of -even skilled- lasers against guristas npc's)
- Setup windows & fitting panel never remember columns sizes, it's just a little bit annoying to resize all columns each time I open EFT again :)
- It would be very nice to be able to choose our display font. When using a 1024x768 display I always have to move windows here and there continuously, kinda tiring :)
- Adding a comment to a setup would be a usefull feature I think
- On many cases, when right clicking to get access to ship related skills, there is no line for the ship's class skill by itself, despite for example turrets display it when the ship has a bonus for turrets. I think it would be usefull in all cases to display the ships class skill in order to preview the overall effect a ship skill will have.
- An option to show/hide items the user can't fit because his skill, and/or because cpu/pwg/calibration needs would be greatly appreciated :)
- I think there is no way, IG, to keep a afterburner/mwd activated when cloaked. but EFT keeps these modules activated when we activate the cloaking device.
- EFT should automatically switch to the market tab when there's no items in the currently selected tab.

Love your tool very much, THX. Recently i've started to get an error " '.' is not a valid integer " when i connect to myeve for import. This just started yesterday, nothing helped me so far. I'm using version 2.3. Tried to solve the problem: reinstalling EFT, changing regional setting of windows, nothing helped so far. Will there be any suggestions? Does EFT use windows registry? If does, where are it's registry data located?

I am having this problem too. Everytime I try to do a quick import or add a new character, I get an error ''.' is not a valid integer' everytime after I chose character (after the api has been validated). Anyone have a proposed solution for this?

I do that already, by using Print Screen and pasting it into Paint. I cut out the window with the ship stats, and then put that into a new image, so it fits on one page.
To the author, I'd also like to say thank you for this program. It is a really useful tool, very intuitive and little features like "open market group" for loaded modules saves a lot of menu-hunting.
The inevitable suggestion / nitpick--I can't seem to find an option to load non-faction advanced rockets & missiles. (Someone's probably already mentioned this.)

Sure, that works, but it's tedious.

T2 ammo can only be loaded into T2 weapons.

I'm just putting myself in the pot as another instance of the character import error: " '.' is not a valid integer ". I've tried multiple new API keys and the error persists with version 2.3.

Great tool... Nice to see a Delphi tool out there :D
One suggestion that would be nice to add and if source was available I would... hint hint.. is a price this setup option. Now it would only work with market mods but I would like it to hit eve-central and get prices of all the mods and ship and give you an estimate. |

Lol, least you admit it . Ya my bad, it was a long day at work where i obviously couldn't go and check online from! I just could have sworn the one that gave -shield boosting was a mid slot. (Been a while since I played last, just getting back in.)
Also awesome tool, great for the long boring time at work!

There seems to be ZERO (0) calibration pts for a Maelstrom in EFT 2.3.
This is wrong, and for the life of me I cannot figure out why it's not showing 400 pts.
All other ships have calibration pts (and allow calibration), and The Maelstrom does not (only one I found).
It's important, since I fit my ships with neato rigs..
Any help please.

dont know if this has allready been mentioned. but on the capital armor repair module the EFT only accounts from the Capital repair systems skills. but on TQ and ingame the module itself gets the 5% cap reduction from the normal "Remote Armor Repair" skill
