I would definately go large projectiles in a Maelstrom as a first goal. Then you can move on to a Vargur or Machariel. Both of them use autocannons in missions so I would train for T2 large autocannons. They also use shield boosters, so capacitor ...

This thread makes mission runners look bad (and yes I run a lot of missions). It will not be hard to adapt to the incursions from what I've seen, and it may actually provide some more novel PVE content.

Buy a Maelstrom to use until you get used to the level 4 missions, you will probably lose one or more of them. Then switch to the Mach. How in the world did you get the isk and skills to fit a Mach like that anyway running level 3 missions???
