Combat only client for battle hungy pilots Forget complicated AI's for belt rats and the like Pilot gets to control the NPC ships as a special guest OI 'Organic Intelligence' or PI or 'Player Intelligence' for NPC with whatever fittings it is generated with and has to do the best they can with what they got against the well prepared mission runners, ratters, miners and so on No skilling to worry about, no isk to make, just kudos and the satisfaction of making the PVE experience better for evryone. if you get blown up you get transmitted to another ship somewhere else and the chaos continues

Well I guess either nobody gets what I'm on about or the single word question "SISI?" has put anyone else off making comment.
SISI I assume is a reference to the test server, and that question doesn't appear to me to be particularly relevant to my suggestion.
anywho I recon that having a human element effecting the actions of NPC would radically change the nature of PVE. You would never know if or when the NPC would have human assisted or directed AI core and you would never have any idea who supplied that assistance or direction
but that appears to be just my opinion I guess this topic is closed thanks to all who took the time to read it |

im sorry this is not "Lord Of The Rings Online"! plus the loading lag and most common Client glitchs from shifting from one screen to another "jump cloning" would turn away almost everyone.
i just can't see this being a viable thing to add. for missions are a controlled environment, give a player control of one of these rats could change everything. 1. that player becomes a butthead and starts killing the mission rats so the missioner can't get the bountys 2. the player who is well verised in eve could basicly make it a pain to kill them. keeping your angular velocity high, staying as far away as you can, or even 0m note some of these factors doesn't effect missiles but they still play a role.
i will give you .02 isk and ya this is a neat idea. but no thank you |

People don't run missions for kudos. They run them for isk, standings and LP. This idea is to turn the game upside down and destroy everything there is to Eve that has made it as popular as it is. No thanks. The idea of players controlling NPC is kind of interesting but like it has been said, people are asssholes and will do everything they can to ruin someone's fun. ------------------------------------

I would just target the mission runners' drones to inflict as much ISK damage as possible.
As a part time mission runner myself, I would find this highly annoying.
As a part time drone inventor/producer myself, I would find this highly lucrative. |

I'd keep trying til I get control of an officer spawn and then hide off grid. Not a too bad idea about players controlling the NPCs, but soo much things could go horribly wrong. |
