Having read several pages of how overpowered the Myrmidon is I thought I'd post some of my own Battlecruiser related ideas, whines etc.
Things I'd like to see changed on the Drake. - Another low slot. (Believe it or not us Caldari need low slots too. In this case for either grid deficit, Damage(BCU), Shield(SPR).
- 50M3 Drone Bay. (/me hides form the flames) This would allow the option of 5 mediums for a combat set-up or 5 small scouts and a few utility drones for flexibility.
- I also think the Kinetic bonus should be looked at with a possible eye to changing it to a bonus to all types of missiles as I'm sick of hearing how us missile users can choose any type of damage.
Other Battlecruisers.
Having not flown the others I'm going of what's on paper more than expirience here.
The Hurricane - 7 Turrets makes it more the projectile equivalent of the Drake.
The Prophecy - I'm sure an Amaar pilot could come up with a better suggestion but maybe another mid slot?
Drone Bays - Make 50M3 the BC standard this allows all BCs capable of using drones and stops the Myrmidons 125M3 seeming so vastly out of synch.

yeah the drake really needs a buff - nobody flies it due to its utter uselessness..
Leave the drake as it is. Give the Ferox +2 turrets and +1 low, and the hurricane +1 turret. Change Myrmidon drone bonus to small and medium drones only. Can't say anything about the others as i don't fly them.

Umm...
+1 turret on abso, zealot, harbinger, +2 mids on geddon... hmm... thats enough to break game balance imo.

I'm not saying there's anything wrong with the Drake as such. I'd just rather have a few improvements to it rather than the standard nerf anything people complain about solution.
Follow it to it's ultimate end and we'll be in 0.0 involved in Ibis wars.

But you CAN choose. At least you have the option. Amarr don't have it at all.
NEWSFLASH: CCP remove Amarr and lasers from the game.
All pilots with any AMARR skillpoints will be deleted on 1st of September (They might as well since CCP nerfed them into extinction |

Hurricane doesnt need +1 turret, its got a double damage bonus because it has less turrets. Stick missile launchers in those high slots and be happy that you can add supplimentary DPS and the ship is easy to fit.
Harbinger needs pretty much nothing. Its cant at all be considered the best teir 2 bc, but it does what it does well, and adapts to different situations without changing fittings very similarly to the Armageddon.
Absolution could use a mid slot or a turret. Less guns than everyone else doesnt cut if if they have the same bonuses to damage as you, while getting range[falloff] bonuses for pretty much no concessions.

Drones?
Zealot, Crusader...
Even on ships with a signifiant drone bay, how is that helping you when you're in a fleet shooting at something 120km away?

And how does being 120k+ help the drake? Or any non cruise/torp missle boat.
