There is no need for a rebuttal, honestly I didn't even read what you wrote on the previous page. This isn't a debate. I'm telling you what's going to happen. Why it's going to happen. And to deal with it.

Hint:
They could entirely delete T2 BPOs from the game right now and it would have a minimal effect on most T2 markets.
They could also make items built from T2 BPOs cost no materials at all and achieve the same result.
Invention changes are not going to be the birth of a merchant class, which was the closest thing to a coherent statement I could pull out of your posts. |

Which weren't deleted and are now worth far more than they ever were when in use? Really, that's what you came up with?

Which weren't deleted and are now worth far more than they ever were when in use? Really, that's what you came up with? They are no longer able to be used, so functionally removed. Are you saying that T2 owners would be happy if the ability to use a T2 BPO was removed, but the item was kept? When they say "removed" that's pretty much what I expect them to do.
That said, there are things they have removed, like learning skills for example. The most recent example of this, which has not yet come to pass but is already decided, is compression blueprints. Those are being removed. The Indecisive Noob - A new EVE Fan Blog for news and stuff. Wholesale Trading - The new bulk trading mailing list. |

Learning skills were rolled into our stats and the SP refunded. Compression BPOs are being removed, but the NPC price for them is being refunded and Rorquals will be able to compress without them, as will starbases with a new module. Mines and their BPOs weren't removed, only their seeding.
Things definitely have been removed, but I don't think you're using good examples.

Just deal with it bro. I understand what you're saying, and I understand that you, and your camp, has been preaching this all along. You made a good run, and it almost worked. But you're wrong. Some will fall victim to stupidity, and the smart will take advantage. It's the circle of life. But in EVE everyone lives forever, and everyone gets rich. Things definitely have been removed, but I don't think you're using good examples. LOL. "I see those things have been removed but I don't accept it as good enough". That's a ridiculous response. Bascially, no matter what examples we give, you are going to complain that they are not good enough, because you'd rather not think about them removing T2 BPOs. And T2 BPOs, while being "removed" (or possibly made into collectors items with no use) would in the same way just be a refinement of the T2 industry system. T2 manufacture would still be possible through invention, so it's no different.

Get a bigger bat, if you're planning on hittin these balls. Deal with it? Deal with what? Deal with you burying your head in the sand? You realise you are not some special snowflake right? CCP have given me more than enough evidence to suggest that T2 BPOs have a limited shelf-life and in the short term with at least halve in value. You saying "nope!" isn't evidence in and of itself, because you are just some random. If you'd like to counter the actual points, be my guest, if you'd like to provide evidence yourself, be my guest, but just saying "nope!" doesn't actually make your case.
Importantly though, when they do inevitably remove T2 BPOs and you are back shrieking on the forums, I'll remember to point you at this thread and laugh heartily, since CCP provided you with more than enough information to make an educated decision. Let's face it, even if you believe nothing else, they stated unambiguously that T2 BPO value "will go down" and yet you still want to believe that nothing will change. You need an education my friend. The Indecisive Noob - A new EVE Fan Blog for news and stuff. Wholesale Trading - The new bulk trading mailing list. |

awesome selective reading/thinking.... learning skills are hardly items and even their SP/skillbooks have been reimbursed.. I had a good laugh with the mine example, ty Go Lucas, A single Item that has been removed....bring it!! back to the Facts and destroying your argument: No Item with the slightest value in eve has been removed in the past 10 years.

Otti Ottig wrote:back to the Facts and destroying your argument: No Item with the slightest value in eve has been removed in the past 10 years. So what was that you were saying about about facts? The actual fact is that CCP have removed items from the game, and they even have a devblog stating the removal of compression blueprints, so you can;t even say that they don't remove stuff now. Then on top of that, even if you weren't categorically wrong about it, the removal of T2 BPOs may only be limited to the removal of their use, making them collectors only. From an invention mechanic iteration standpoint that would work just as well as their complete removal, so that may be how they are going to proceed. It doesn't change the end result of T2 BPOs being devalued and functionally irrelevant. The Indecisive Noob - A new EVE Fan Blog for news and stuff. I have removed some rule breaking posts and those quoting them. As always I let some edge cases stay. Please people, keep it on topic and above all civil!
The Rules: 4. Personal attacks are prohibited.
Commonly known as flaming, personal attacks are posts that are designed to personally berate or insult another forum user. Posts of this nature are not beneficial to the community spirit that CCP promote and as such they will not be tolerated.
5. Trolling is prohibited.
Trolling is a defined as a post that is deliberately designed for the purpose of angering and insulting other players in an attempt to incite retaliation or an emotional response. Posts of this nature are disruptive, often abusive and do not contribute to the sense of community that CCP promote.
26. Off-topic posting is prohibited.
Off-topic posting is permitted within reason, as sometimes a single comment may color or lighten the tone of discussion. However, excessive posting of off-topic remarks in an attempt to derail a thread may result in the thread being locked, or a forum warning being issued.

I'm seriously starting to think he might have an agenda and might be abusing his power because he keeps stepping into every single ******* T2 BPO thread over multiple sub-forums to censor, snip, close, or move. It has seriously become a pattern. He has even done arbitrary deletion of bids in sale threads. Getting ready to petition this **** for investigation if it continues. |

The changes are not explicitly targeted at T2 BPOs, but we're also not currently minded to do anything to prop up the value of T2 BPOs given that we're contemplating significant changes to them in the future anyway. And I have been very deliberate about not making any comments neither for nor against T2 BPO's. Merely that quick movements, both up and down, equal profitability if one is on the proper end of the trade. |
