This sheet is for the miner who wants to save precious time, the manufacturer who needs more than just knowledge on mineral requirement and the seller who needs to know accurate price estimates.
The sheet won't work with openoffice or other excel clones. It will work with excel 97 and above.
New members, send 10 mil isk and evemail me the email I should send it to to get it. Old members deduct what you've already payed for the sheet from the 10 mil and send the isk, if you email has changed, send me the email.
It's getting less and less buggy, if you find one let me know via email or via this forum so I can fix it asap.
Images of the sheet: Save/load sheet Update sheet Basic stats sheet buy & refine ore sheet Ice Stats sheet Miner Fitting sheet Mining Stats sheet Owned BPs sheet Research sheet Owned T2 Items sheet Factory Planning sheet Station Inventory sheet Ore Calc sheet Mining Calculator sheet Item Refining sheet Sells sheet Upper group mining sheet Lower part of Group Mining sheet
Things I'll be adding in future updates, which you've already payed for with the 10 mil isk: 1) ice-group mining sheet 2) factory/lab renting sheet (for accurate cost-analysis) 3) wallet transaction database, sales history, sales overview and more sales datasheets. 4) future optimisations of current datasheets. 5) if time allows, and people show interest in it: POS sheets. ----------------------------------------
The Free sheet. Here's a simplified version of the sheet mainly focused on the most common profession in the game: The Miner.
The free sheet and the free sheet in french

First things first, great sheet!
I think i found a bug/error,
There seems to be a big difference between using strip miners in "mining setup 1" and the other setups. ie: with 1 "strip miner I" on setup 1 I get 562, but with the same setup in "mining setup 2" I get 323!
The only differences i can see is that when selecting the mining barge on setups 2,3 and 4 the cell below the ship type changes to "mining Barge" but in setup 1 it changes to "mining Barge skill"
The other difference is in setup 1 there is a drop down box for selecting the skill level, but in the other setups it is not there.
I hope this makes some sence!
If it turns out to be me that is bugged, I apologise now!

Hi t'el, new sheet looking good, just one problem with the save/load user settings - I assume the V2.00 sheet should accept the settings files created from the V1.12 sheet?
Most of it seems to transfer across alright: skills, station efficiency/standing, mineral sell prices etc. But I'm having trouble with the "owned BPs" page, it doesn't seem to be affected by the load of user data at all. When I click the "load" button and keep an eye on the messages bottom left, it rattles through everything, but pauses for about 10 seconds on "Loading owned BPs", and like I said, the owned BPs page doesn't change at all. FYI there should be 112 BPs to be loaded in.
I've not done anything to the sheet except extract from the zip to the same place the other sheet was (hence the user settings files are in the right place), and clicked "load settings".
Am I missing something, or is this a bug?

homerclese: Yeah, you're one of the unfortunate ones which payed too little for the exodus sheet, and too late to get the 1.12..
I'd recommend you send the rest of what is needed, and get the 2.00, or send an evemail if you want to skip out and I'll reimburse you. I'll probably try to evemail the people who got caught in the middle like this to tell them about this soon.
Matthew: yeah, the export from 1.12 to 2.00 isn't too great.. Too much has changed on the backend for it to go smoothly, sorry about that. I'll make 98% sure that import export from 2.00 to other versions will be smooth as silk, you guys will have to be my other 2%
Love the replies, keep 'em coming!

The V2.xx sheets will not import the owned BPs or Factory Planning data from the v1.12 sheet.
You can copy the data from the old sheet and paste it into the new sheet. Don't select the sort #1 column from the old sheet. The sort #1 column is now a calculated/protected column.
The blueprint naming scheme has changed so you will have to reselect bp names from the drop down box for the blueprints that have an N/A in the "mineral cost of run" column.

Edited by: Eol Ruin on 04/03/2005 06:36:24 Nice done mate. The new one is real a improvement compared to the old one (which was also great).
Two points:
* PLEASE (*grovel*,*grovel*,*grovel*,*grovel*) open the rows for fomatting ;) Since you will never achieve the perfect formatting which fits all users it would be nice if it's customizable. Also with some little "tricks" you could get all on one page without scrolling on one page with a zoom of 100%.
* Is there a possibility to select a BPO by entering the first letters in the Dropdown ? I takes quite some time to select a BPO with scrolling ... especially Valkyries ...
Nevertheless - praise to your efforts.
BTW: On what region are your prices (Update) based ? Or is it a copy of the guardian or magma index ?

Edited by: Calleb on 04/03/2005 08:50:04 Just a quick question b4 i part with my isk. I have been a long term user of the previous version, but its usefullness has dropped off for me lately due to the fact that it didnt have the tech 2 BP that i use, (Anathema and mega beam 2). I was wondering if the bp list is now more up to date, or would it be possable for users to input their own bp data to avaoid waiting for updates. Also are tech 2 manufacturing components included in the sheet somewhere?
Thanks in advance

Exactly,
A thing that this sheet realy needs is a way for people to enter their own blueprint data.
It's realy anoying not being able to use this great spread-sheet, because some of the blueprints are out-dated or not in it.
This is what is keeping me from buying V2.0

Edited by: T''el''Alana Luathin on 04/03/2005 16:09:05 There are 693 BPs selectable from within the sheet.
A big part of the exodus update, and a reason why it took so long was the automated blueprint manager which was programmed to, as automatically as possible, update the BP info.
So the BP info will always be up to date, so if you do find a discrepancy, let me know and I'll just have to click a button and then you just click a button, and we help everyone else as well.
As it's alot more of an automated process, I can go over the bpdata every weekend and update it, so don't worry about BPs with errors in them, as that's a thing of the past.

T,
Sheet is an amazing amount of work. However for the factory planning and owned BP's sheet - i can't get any values to appear, they all have #N/A.
Also noted the BP update function doesn't work for me, the ore/ice data does update, but the date doesn't change for the BP DB update - so i don't know if the BP data has been refreshed or not.
Any ideas?
btw I confirm you need to copy and paste your Owned BP sheet from the old 1.12 into 2.0 (the import function doesn't work). Everything else seemed to import ok.

Blueprint name from V1.12: 1MN Afterburner I -or- 1MN Afterburner 2
Blueprint name from V2.xx: 1MN Afterburner I Blueprint -or- 1MN Afterburner II Blueprint
You will have to pick the correct blueprint name from the drop down box to get rid of the "N/A"'s.

Is there any way you could sort the listing of modules a little more sanely? It's almost impossible to find what you're looking for in the Item Refine tab.

I'm looking at solutions to add an autofiller to the bp drop down box, and better listing options, it's a new problem because of the growing lsit of bps, one which'll get fixed.

Woot, first bug-fix release. I'll try to keep a log of what I've fixed.
1: Check miner setup 1 for problems with the 3 minute value - Fixed 2: check basic stats, cell k18 to see if it takes into station refine ability into account - Fixed 3: production time is wrong on factory planning sheet - Fixed 4: buy & refine ore, I5 too short a list. - Fixed 5: Check short list in cell F3 on buy & refine sheet - Fixed 6: shrink the Ore table on basic stats sheet. - Fixed
Someone asked for a ice-group mining sheet, something I'll be adding in a future update. -- always look on the bright side of the cloning facility. |

Totals of minerals owned in Station Inv is not transferring to Ore Calc and therefore not onto Mining Calc either.

modena: at the bottom of the station inventory there's a "include station?" are the stations all included? I've been meaning to move that up.. will do that in one of these updates..
Include station basically means whether you want to make the minerals in station X be counted towards ore calc, and thus be used in the mining calc, good to put in "no" in the other stations when dealing with only a certain station.
That gives me more ideas..

Edited by: Hunter GlobaGateways on 07/03/2005 14:47:00 Edited by: Hunter GlobaGateways on 07/03/2005 14:46:43 When trying to use the UES_Owned_BPS_Converter for BPO/BPC import, I get type mismatch when trying to use it, I tried importing BPO's from 1.12 to 2.01, 2.1 and now 2.02, none of them work, I also tried importing directly without using the UES converter, from all version 1.12 directly to 2.02.. Any ideas ?
Keep up the excellent work Hunter

Hunter GlobaGateways: The UES_Owned_BPS_Converter needs to be run from the same directory as the files Ultimate_EVE_OwnedBPs.bin and Ultimate_EVE_Sheet.ini.
This converter reads Ultimate_EVE_OwnedBPs.bin, converts the blueprint names to the v2 naming convension, and then addes the blueprints to section [owned BPs] in the file Ultimate_EVE_Sheet.ini.

And Third batch sent.
64 people already gotten their 2.02 sheet.
I asked a dude why he thinks the sheet is great, simple answer, makes production alot easier.
I like that.. exactly why I made the sheet.. Then he told me he doesn't want anyone else to get the same advantage, so he never tells anyone about it
Don't let the older users get the advantage! grab it today!

Edited by: ZATZAi on 09/03/2005 13:22:03 Just got it, thanks a bunch. Its so much more than the old basic one, more than I expected. It's going to take a little while for me to grasp the whole thing.
The tabs of pages don't even fit onto my screen, I have to scroll! ;-)
The only annoying thing is havign to give it Macro permission each time, having set security to medium. I'll have to figure out how to make it 'trust' your sheet explicitly so I don't have to set security to low.

Bug report: 1. In the name the version is 2.02 but in the sheet its still 2.01 + there is no update on the log of fixes stating what has been done (I cant have my mail open all the time to check it, so i prefer to have the info in the sheet) 2. The password for opening the sheet is gone, not good :)

Yeah I hate having to scroll the tabs.. need a better way to go from one tab to another..
I also hate the enable macro thingy.. let me know if you find the "trust this sheet" option, I'd love it.
log thingy.. ok will remember that.
The password thingy was removed, not really needed.
