Well, the offers aren't agent level based, so the frigates require tags acquire from frigate npcs most of the time.
Once the deadspace npcs actually start dropping tags, they will become less of a problem.
Is there two different settings for faction tags required in offers and faction you have to kill? I get more ammatar than amarr kill missions however i only seem to have gotten amarr offers. It's just a detail i am courious about, nothing major as i got 1000s of tags anyway
Happy xmas and thanks for taking care of the major agent woes shiva brought us!
You do not neccessarily get offers for the npcs your agent sends you to kill, no. But we will be adding in market demand for them in pirate space (the navy tags that is). The intention is also to nudge people into trading the tags, instead of always using them with the same agent.
And a merry xmas to you too .

Originally by: dosperado Then you should tell the players that they don't need to WASTE their time getting all those tags together and they better should decline those factions ship offers instantly (because of that one missing tag).
I'm sorry if you feel that way. Acquiring those tags will probably not be in vain though, you will most likely recieve the same offer after the next patch sometime down the line, and then all you need to do is acquire the one missing tag.

Originally by: Zrakor This is not a mission, just an offer. If you feel that you cannot complete it, simply decline the offer. You will never recieve bookmarks to the spawn point of these npcs through the offer, we do not expect you to complete it, it's purely optional.
That said, we decided to enable the ship offers even though some of them are currently pretty much uncompletable to due the tag not being available till the patch in early or mid January. This atleast gives you a hint at what the offer costs and what you need to get to complete it. You will most likely recieve the offer again some time down the line, if you haven't spent too many Loyalty Points that is.
Sorry to say this Zrakor...
But this is just stupid...

Great. Offers that you can't complete. Contraband that you can't smuggle. Deadspace zones that slow your ship to a crawl (I actually preferred it when the ships in there WERE'NT dropping cargo - at least I didn't have to schlep around picking it all up). Why are CCP actively working to make their own game so totally, thoroughly pointless?
And sorry, but to use the excuse that it was "left in to give a flavour of what would be required" just sounds like a big cover up for "we couldn't be arsed to take it out so left it in even though only half of it works".
I don't normally whine, honest, but this patch just seems to have been so rushed and half finished. ========================================= * I'm ALLOWED to cheat. I'm a STARSHIP. * ========================================= |

I'll try and go to amarr with Arthura to trade dog tags, -4 sec rating and -6 amarr/ammatar/khanid might make it difficult tough ;) (Do you know if diplomacy works with the faction police/sentryguns/concord?)
Good to try to encourage player item trading, we'll see how it works out. I am afraid tough that this will result in rip off prices, making most offers unreasonable. Btw, to further encourage trade, how about disabling all drug drops in empire? Only having them drop/being sold by pirate factions in 0.0 would raise their value, maybe to a point where people are willing to setup trades for them. (Lowering their volume might be required tough, some are just huge) I get the feeling, that the more valuable stuff you get doing something, the more people will do that. might work, might only **** people off and make me rich tough. |

My offer is valid until 28.12.
Maybe one of the GM's puts that missing tag into my hangar as a x-mas gift on 24.12.
My only goal in this game is to work hard to get those faction ships.
I don't need any other ships. I don't need any isk. I dont need any other rewards.
My security status is 5.1 (maybe the highest a player ever reached after castor)
Yes I am a carebear
Those faction ships are the only motivation for players who have all you could reach in that game.
So where is my motivation now? I can't see it.

You could just wait until the January patch.
It may be 3/4 weeks away but just thank god you are not Minmatar. We've been waiting for our guns to be fixed for months. You never know, by that time your loyalty points may be high enough for you agent to offer you an even better ship.

... Wouldn't that require him to pretty much not do anything for that particular agent until "after the next patch sometime down the line", since doing anything will result in change of Loyalty Points and consequently enable different, 'better' offers?

right, I have to stop doing missions for that agent until january to get that offer again
but I don't want to wait for a 'better' offer, I want the offer I actually have I would not get that offer again with higher LP

You would need considerably higher LP for the offer to stop being dished out to you, but there also is another very similar offer (requiring a few more tags but pretty much the same types and quite a few more LP points) for a 5 run bpc. I seriously doubt you will be able to acquire so many LP's before the next patch that this offer becomes redundant, and if you do you should not find it overly difficult to acquire these points all over again when you have finally found the missing tag.

ehhm, you know that npc in lvl4 missions dont drop those tags:
Dread Guristas Silver Tag Guristas Bronze Tag Guristas Silver Tag
It was really painful to get them, so what should I do If he requires many more for a better offer?
Should I go back to lvl2 missions until middle of january?? nahh
I don't want to kill 8k Guristas Arrogators or 17,5k Demolishers for days to get those tags. ____________________ CEO Denial of Service
