Interceptors were always faster then nano-HACs.
Naturally, totally pimped snakes nano-HACs overtook standard T2 unrigged interceptors. Totally pimped snaked interceptors go about double their speed if not a bit more (and yes, they go at totally utterly insane speeds, but that's both unpractical and uneccesary).

environments, revisiting tracking and hit mechanics, (so theres no absolute value you can go past to avoid all damage which does not change with this nerf) removing webs and mwd's (the most broken and binary modules in the game) implementing subsystem warfare
They'd also need to increase the difference between speed in the classes, and increase the base speed to about 40% of what mwd speed is now.

instead there turning scrams in to webs :facepalm: and nerfing the game solely to make the game easier, instead of better.

Blobbing is a social problem, not a technical one. Unless CCP implement a "you must have THIS much confidence in your PvP skill" requirement to fly a ship, there's no real solution.
CONCORD provide consequences, not safety; only you can do that. |

I have a solution to counter "teh zerg" in the game I'm developing. I imagine it would translate to Eve quite easily. I'm just one (at the moment) amateur. If the professionals at CCP put their thinking caps on, they'll come up with counters. There are probably more or better solutions than mine, I just stopped thinking of solutions when I reached the first one that qualified as "good enough".

However: (a) Saying interceptors are overtaken by nano-HACs makes you look like a clueless idiot. Unless you mean, by nano-HACs fitting officer 100MN MWDs, in which case you're a hopelessly EFT-ing clueless idiot.
Hint: a LG snaked+rogues Crow (which is a very popular interceptor for pimping) with T1 polys, gistii-A MWD and 2xRF ODs goes 13.9km/s out of gang. Crow is one of the slower interceptors
Similarily pimped Vagabond (are there any Gistum A-Type MWDs at all?) goes 11.9km/s out of gang with 3x RF ODs and 1x RF nanofiber (both ships have a free low, the crow would benefit more from a third OD then the Vaga from anything it can fit). It's one of the fastest HACs. Overtaking?

caldari ships are actually quite good, especially in stuff like FW, the problem is just that its bunch of noobs/******s that flies them.. drake with HAMs II does more dps has more (buffer tank) and faster, than an armor tanked hurricane with armor rigs. hurricane is strong, because it uses turrets which (can) hit nanoships. for ever1 disagreeing about the hurricane and drake thingy, go eft it. If you cant make it better than hurricane, then its because you fail (like my spelling)..
