You know, you could read and realize that it's been said on multiple occasions that 90% of all Naqam pilots are occupied in Delve before MXD issued this war declaration. How this matches with the absurd notion we should pick our bags and seize our operations there and come to Federation space to hunt down MXD pilots because you people happened to issue a war declaration is quite beyond me.
If you wish NHB to seize distribution and sales of the Happy chip you should bring out your own product that can compete with our product on the market, because even if this war declaration did make it abit harder (it doesn't really) for Naqam capsuleers to fly around, all it does to our market demographics is get more sales of the Happy chip due to the cheap advertising of our product MXD is so nice to provide. _________

Perhaps make a product that helps the people you are trying to protect that doesn't involve putting a chip into their head?
Would make more sense and be more productive than seeing a War Target then go puffing your chest that he isn't undocking.

Andreus, are you related to Archbishop or his cronies at all?
Because the level of idiocy displayed in your rhetoric and actions is mind-boggling. You declare war on an entity which apparently has no presence in your space, and then complain when they don't come from Delve to fight you.
Come on. |

No. I have no problem with them staying in Delve and not fighting me. Them staying in Delve is beneficial for me - they're not here to get in Orun's way while he's tracking down their nonpod operations. What I complain about is when they do come all the way from Delve and then don't fight me - and also when they barefacedly lie about what they were doing down there. Seriously, who am I going to believe - my trustworthy co-CEO, or an insane, brainwashed PR manager well known for putting a very positive spin on very negative actions?
For God's sake, woman, they're Sansha. Lying, wheedling and misinterpration come as easily to them as breathing to you or me. There's never been a single member - not one single member - of Sansha's Nation that can be trusted, and yet, mother of all the Gods, people are sympathising with them. Sympathising. With the Sanshas.
I'm not calling people idiots because they're not sympathising with me - the day I need the sympathy of people like Ju'wien or Thorradin is the day I hang up my pilot's liscence. But people sypmathising with Sanshas? And you call me an idiot? -----

I'm going to have to echo his sentiment here. We are talking aboutSansha's Nation of all things. This isn't exactly a case of one big corporation bullying a little one and making a lot of bluster and noise about it - this is a case of a patriotic and concerned group of citizens taking a stand against the influence of a group affiliated with one of the cluster's most notorious pirate cartels.
The priorities some of the people here have are loopy. -

Frankly, Andreus Ixiris and his corporation has such a low standing amongst podders that yes, yes we do believe Naqam over him and his little band of idiots.
You've made some interesting, but sadly, singularly unconvincing arguments, Stitcher, but I will give you that you are far more reputable than Andreus. You may count him as a friend, but most of the rest of us count him as a unethical, lying nut-case. --------

I'm gonna have to echo Leon here....why the hell would they follow your script, seriously? If YOU declare war and you want to keep them out of "your" space, then the onus is on you to actually do something about it.
Of course, the entire community knows perfectly well that what Andreus SAYS and what he actually backs up are hardly the same in most situations.....

Well we were doing something about it - for two hours. That he refused to undock, and then jump-cloned away means that, technically, we were the victors, as we held the field. It was just a damn boring victory, as in holding the field we inflicted no losses and didn't even fire a round of ammunition. In truth, I'm the first to say that it was, really, no victory on our part, just another part of the continuing nonaction that this war has turned out to be.
Originally by: Vikarion Frankly, Andreus Ixiris and his corporation has such a low standing amongst podders that yes, yes we do believe Naqam over him and his little band of idiots.
My little band of idiots is unavailable for direct comment, but express the general wish that your littler band of idiots would cease talking.

Unethical? Provide a single shred of evidence for that statement. As for "lying", that ball's in Naqam's court, since they say that Viktor Javious never undocked whereas Faust quite clearly saw him on his overview while undocking in his salvager.
Vikarion, I'm just going to say it - I might not like you, but I wholeheartedly promise never to try and install mind-altering cybernetic equipment in your head under the guise of solving your emotional problems. The Sanshas offer you no such promise. I know I'm not particularly popular, mostly because people can't handle the inherent truth in my every statement (or it may be something to do with my narcissism and overbearing arrogance, I'm not sure), but if you would believe a Sansha's word over mine, you are an idiot. Simple as. I can laugh at myself. In fact, not only can I laugh at myself, but I can do it far better than any of you can.
And if you're not convinced by Stitcher's arguments against the Sansha, Stitcher being quite possibly the most rational Caldari ever to grace the face of the cluster, I've got to say I really hold no hope for you at all, and thus I couldn't really give a damn about your opinion.
Incidentally, I'd like to say that Orun's planetsie work is progressing predictably smoothly. -----

that doesn't make a whole hell of a lot of sense does it?
Well, you view the product as brainwashing, which it clearly doesn't. We claim it can help people who are otherwise depressed and unable to enjoy life to even a small percentage worth living.
If your Federation would be as awesome and great as you claim it is there wouldn't be a need or market for our product. Yet there is. Your corporation doesn't agree and choices violence to solve that disagreement because clearly your corporation is unable or unwilling (I assume the latter) to compete on the normal market we created.
Now if your corporation wants to act like bulliesto try force us by gun point of a legitimate market section, that's fine, but we're not the least intimidated or hindered by those antics.
Quote: Vikarion, I'm just going to say it - I might not like you, but I wholeheartedly promise never to try and install mind-altering cybernetic equipment in your head under the guise of solving your emotional problems. The Sanshas offer you no such promise.
On the contrary. All issues of the Happy chip so far have the simple, yet effective promise that it does nothing more then we say it does. That you're so paranoid to think it does more then that is your problem.
Quote: And if you're not convinced by Stitcher's arguments against the Sansha, Stitcher being quite possibly the most rational Caldari ever to grace the face of the cluster, I've got to say I really hold no hope for you at all, and thus I couldn't really give a damn about your opinion.
Stitchers argument holds a certain value, in that you can train someone to be blindly obedient. You yourself are a perfect example of said blind obedience and conditioning.
Anyway, there's little to explain to a corporation that claims to defend freedom and liberty, but mean while tries to bully another corporation of a free market by using guns. In your defence it's probably the only means by which you can be even remotely effective, but it also makes you look hypocritical.
If NBH would put little fluzzy ball of fur on the market you'd no doubt find a way to claim it infects peoples brains.

Maybe, if you value my judgment at all, it's time to re-evaluate that opinion. I'm a curmudgeonly old leatherhead when I want to be, and believe me, Andreus earned my esteem. I didn't just arbitrarily hand it out.
Anyway, I'm happy to just have played the opposition here. I'm a big believer in balance, and I hate to see any one person's view - especially a view I strongly disagree with - go unopposed -

Eh, I think you just insulted Andreus there. See, he was supposed to be the opposition here.
Well, I guess you have a point in that he needed the help. But I personally found that you ended up "out-Sansha-ing the Sanshas" when you argued that sometimes you do know what's better for someone else than they themselves do.
And Andreus, you shouldn't just dislike me, you should hate me. I'm a chaotically murderous creature who fights to see pretty explosions and the thrill of the hunt. My one redeeming virtue is that I always tell the truth.
And the truth is that Naqam - mayhap not the Sanshas but Naqam - is more trustworthy than yourself. And I've personally run tests on this chip - stuck it into the heads of a few of my crew who "volunteered".
It did exactly what they said it would, and no more. I even made them walk around all day with a brain-scan monitor. --------

Many of you may not have realized this, Andreus is not the Alpha and Omega of MXD. I hold Co-CEO status and when I disagree with him on something I tend to inform him in no uncertain terms. As far as the issue of Naqam and their attempt to make people pay to be made into what are essentially meatpuppets, I agree with him that the free market is inadequate in deciding this issue. I am not one of those people who believes that the free market is the holy of holies of a democratic government, and I feel that any market should have some oversight from regulatory bodies to prevent blatant abuse of the consumers participating in that market |

Well, it appears Mr Ixiris mouth has been incurring debts his corp cannot pay. We in Exalted. recently received this communication from CONCORD :-
Quote: 2008.08.14 20:48 The war between Mixed Metaphor and Exalted. is coming to an end. Mixed Metaphor has retracted the war against Exalted.. The war will be declared as being over after approximately 24 hours.
And we've only been back from Delve for a day! Now, if it was up to me, I reckon we haven't bled MXD nearly enough to be satisfied that this fool and his band of cronies have learned their lesson, hopefully we can continue the harvest a little while yet. (Some Ixiris blood would be a brilliant nab, we just need to find a way to make him undock.)

Hmm, a little recap might be handy as some of you think Andreus is a nutcake ...
Andreus opens his big mouth against the press with threats against some undead; that stuff gets publicity and all of the moral knights of New Eden think he should not be so rude against the Shansha affiliates and leave them be within Federation Borders as he is not the president of the Federation but just a CEO of a humble Federation Corporation.
Stuff heats up when Andreus starts annoying the responders with more words. Responders respond with more sympathy for the undead and are even willing to support the Undead with ISK and ships
In the end Mixed Metaphor ends up with more enemies and possible targets to hunt then he started the press release.
Now who was the nutcake, apart from me, here?
