I think they're perfect.
I think NOSs need to bee looked at, the current system is complicated and almost impossible to keep track of in real combat. I think NOSs should just be 1/3 as effective as neuts, but transfer the energy back to you.
Regardless, this should be moved to ships/modules forum.

I think NOSs need to be boosted (a little bit) because I just don't see the use for them in any of my setups. And I really want to be able to use a module with a name as cool as "Nosferatu Energy Vampire".

I just killed a Abaddon with a Curse.. I bet the other guy would disagree with you.
He had 2 LAR II's and 2 EANM II's.
It took awhile but, still got him.

it must have been quite a while then =) and it's a one off scenario... neuting boats work well against ships that rely heavily on cap. thats the idea.
there's a counter for everything
say, we nerf neuts, then we nerf ecm, yes ? and then we make every turret and missile with same rof and damage.
oh and yes... we have to nerf nano too!
meh, pls... no more nerfing... i believe the community has adapted to what we've got now. at least most of it. not again pls.

Why try and fix what doesn't need fixing? Neuts and Nos are finally working well. Sometimes you just need to leave stuff alone.

Just about every ship that is not a drake relies heavily on cap.

Neuts need a slight nerf, nos could remain like this but they should introduce a highslot module that you can activate on someone to show their cap level.

I never heard someone complain about NOS in the last 2 years - they just became more usefull after the NOS nerf.

As for neuts being overpowered , lol. Poor curse can't kill a properly tanked drake. Or pretty much any passive tanked ship.

The only ships I can think of that have been nerfed hard lately have been due to things CCP has introduced spontaneously. Ie introduction of heat nerfs Stabber to uselessness, and nerfs basically any ship that relies on speed to maintain stand off range (mostly Minmatar), carrier changes that make it impossible for carriers to actually carry anything, that sort of thing.

If anything pertaining to neutralisers were to be changed it should be to reduce capacitor sizes on non-amarr ships (supposedly the cap race). Might even introduce a mid/low slot item to boost cap-cost ration when using neutralisers, akin to the rig.
Would counter the efficiency of neutralisers and make fitting the currently mandatory MWD a severe trade-off.
I'll be happy with whatever tweaks come as long as Amarr gets the long end of the stick :D

I'd go one further. At the moment we tell people how much damage is done to an opponent and how much shield, armour, structure is left. I'd change it so that:
Damage message only shows that it is hitting shield/armor/structure. No visibility of how much shield/armor/structure your opponent has left. Make ship scanner show you these things, along with cap.
*Then* there would be a reason to use one.
