yes he is. he's trying to tell us that games only get reviewed by major games magazines when they are first released. we all know that... well, except him, apparently.
i mean, i've not seen a review of pac-man for a while. someone get PC Gamer on that right away! ========================================== that's no moon... oh, wait, yes it is, the space station's out the other window. |

This is what he's trying to point out. -- eve-guides.com Includes all about POSs, outposts, tech II production, item database and much much more. |

it's mathS you heathen lol :P
my point is a 5 year old award is a long, long time in computer land, and eve has changed so much since then.
does eve have any recent awards (that are not from mmorpg.com/vote whoring eve players)?
I think eve has lost focus, I am seeing eve adverts all over the place (even when I went into photobucket to link that pic there was one!) but eve is incredibly unfriendly to newbs what with the pointless learning attributes system (which the devs regret), huge persistant universe dominated by high SP players, etc, etc - that's been debated to death anyhow.
this massive spamming of adverts backed up by 2003 awards just confuses me, eve is absolutely not mainstream and never will be.

the pcgamer one is still relevant for 2 reasons
1: Every expansion since release has been reviewed and scored 90% ish
2: they still have it in the back of the magazine as a must play MMO.

see my previous post. journalists only concern themselves with NEW releases, they won't review a new gme each year jsut so the publisher can update the last digit in their "we got x% from PCGamer" banners.
Trinity 2 might get a column or even a page in games mags, at best, and i'd be surprised if they actually reviewed it at all.
only places like MMORPG.com where things are community based and on-going are updated.
as with my previous post, when did you last see a review for the original pong or pac-man? ========================================== that's no moon... oh, wait, yes it is, the space station's out the other window. |

So why didn't you say that in the first place instead of a post consisting entirely of a single image with you circling the dates in paint? Are you really surprised that no one got the message? I did, but if you can't type out a reasonable post then I have no incentive to decode one for you. ---------------- Tarminic - 29 Million SP in pink Forum Warfare |

It's not supposed to be friendly to noobs, the whole point is that its difficult and involves emotional investment. If you want friendly to noobs theres always hello kitty online, WoW, and tamagotchi online.

tarminic,
some say a picture is worth a thousand words.
others say we are moving towards a visual-based language, as the primacy and privileged status of text is supplanted by images.

You are so Right!! I was on myspace and there was an add for Eve.. Why would a company advertise to keep growing and get more people involved in there product!!? What to make more Money?? To Get more Diverse people playing? Those Bastards! They should not let anyone else join eve its not like a company to want to grow and make more money
