Edited by: Mark Foley on 24/10/2007 00:25:43 So, I log on comp today and fire up sisi client before TQ and relise theres a new patch so copy over eve folder as usual and dl the tq to sisi patch as normal and after a few hours on sisi finally decide to go on tq.
Start up TQ client, and after times of it hanging on "Aquireing Bulk Data" it finishes the process but does nothing. I press connect again and it comes out with
"The client's local session information is corrupt, probably as a result of failed cleanup during a disconnect."
I've tried rebooting + re-installing but my book of tricks is limited. Any1 got any ideas? Thx.

Same thing happened to me. Decided to play around with the new drone bandwidth on SiSi today, so I recopied my EVE folder into my test folder. Downloaded the current SiSi patch, installed it to the test folder, got blown up by my CEO...then tried to log back into TQ to tool around a bit before hitting the hay...
"The client's local session information is corrupt, probably as a result of failed cleanup during a disconnect. Connecting to the server in this state could lead to a rather unpleasant game experience. Please restart the client prior to logging in."
Tried re-installing, changing the line in the properties for my SiSi setup, even did a System Restore to two days ago....still nothing. Game just hangs on the initial splash screen without going to character selection.

i have the exaxct same problem.
-Copy Eve-Original to Testfolder -start Eve out of testfolder to connect -can't connect on SiSi -quit Eve -Start Eve out of original folder -small login showed up, hanged, closed. nothing else happend
I use crtl-alt-del and look into the Taskmanager. one Exefile.exe is still running ( this might be the Eve-Client, as every further start of Eve generate this process in the Taskmanager)

Same issue here, though my alt can log in ... its strange, im not having any connectivity issues, and im using the same client for both accounts (though i have a seperate client for Sisi as one should). Anyway i ran the log server program and there seems to be a heap of errors when i tried to log in, maybe if you check that and submit a petition with that logfile it might help get this issue resolved :)
or at least thats what i've done

Edited by: Kala Starfury on 24/10/2007 15:12:21 Same here. I try to log on and nothing happens after the splash screen... I've uninstalled eve twice along with the test server and reinstalled a new client and still nothing. The splash screen is taunting me... it goes La-la-la-la-la, you'll never get this... and disappears. No login screen. --- --- --- --- --- --- --- --- ---

Edited by: Eru Aesir on 24/10/2007 15:43:06 You need to clear out the "Application data" folder in there you will find a "CCP" folder, clear it out and you can get back on to TQ with what ever account you used on sisi. sisi overwrote data in that folder relating to the account you wento n test with, hence the problem.
Give that ago and it should work. If your using Vista (as I am) its in "appdata"
hope it helps

Geting exactly the same problem, log onto new SISI patch and you can't log onto TQ after that. I've sent a petition about this + a log from the log server.
Have to say it's pretty wierd that the SISI client that's in another folder then the TQ client has this effect on the TQ client. Production & Research Manager of Labteck Corporation LTD. Labteck Corporation LTD. website |

If you're using vista: goto C:\users\your user name\appdata\local\ right click on CCP folder > properties previous version > select a date\time when eve was last working, restore.
No need to delete your cache and settings.

I got the same issue.
Clear the cache? Fine, but I search my local drives and I have no eve-related cache folder.
Renamed the Eve folder in my documents, but the game just recreate the folder and the logging issue is still there... ------------------------------------------
