so I copy over the current client into a new directory, launch it, get a popup for new patch, apply new patch to SiSi directory
change shortcut, launch SiSi client
get a "Relocating offending file(s):" window telling me the files boost_python.dll and _ctypes.pyd have been moved from the bin to the temp folder, next I get a "Verification Failure" window claiming my client has been damaged/corrupted/modified because those two files are missing now. WTF? ---------- KEEP TRY!!!

ok, works now (besides the whole "status unknown" issue, but I guess that's just SiSi being down) - changed one step:
copied TQ client to new directory did NOT launch test client yet, instead I applied /end /server:87.237.38.50 to the new shortcut and THEN connected this time it didn't prompt for a download, but showed a "no auto-patch available" popup leading to the test-server patch page instead
after downloading (slooow...) and installing the patch, the game launched without errors ---------- KEEP TRY!!!

I tried connecting to singularity just now, using that shortcut string with IP: 87.237.38.50, and I get a server status of "none", and an error: Unable to connect to the selected server. Please check the address and try again.
Is the server down or am I missing something?
Running Vista, with shortcut string:
"C:\Program Files\CCP\EVETEST\eve.exe" /end /LUA:OFF /server:87.237.38.50
Any suggestions?

Okay, when I load up the test client it says my computer doesn't have the specs to run the new graphic art. I do hope that this doesn't mean that after Rev 3 I can not play EVE anymore (until I buy a new pc).
I'm playing on an unmodified Toshiba Equium with XP installed.
Oh... and after I kill that box, it says server unknown. I've not been able to catch the Sisi server online for near a week.

You'll still be able to run the EVE Classic client, it just won't have the pretty new models.

it's " /LUA:OFF ", make sure your slashie was going the right direction, also the new art isn't in yet, but the new ships are.

Yep... mine too.
...so I manually patched the Sisi folder and launched the client... which took me back to the original 'there is no connection to server...' message!
Something is wrong. Eve-offline shows Sisi is up and running... are the patches all for Vista (mine XP)?
...or is there something else needs doing to log onto Sisi?

"Could not connect to the specified address. Odds are that you have not established an internet connection, the server isn't running, or the server address or port number was wrong."

I often get the same, but as of a few minutes ago I'm getting Incompatable (BUILD) instead. I've got 4.10.40613 installed, which afaict is the latest. Done it from scratch several times now, so not sure exactly what's going on.

it would appear you dont need the /end /server:87.237.37.50 part added now as i removed that with the latest update and can now connect :D

If you have version 4.10.40613 go to the patches page and download the 40613 to 40749 patch manually. After I did that I was again able to connect to Sisi.
