Not much Gripen can do until he gets the database dump. Not much he can do to get it either. Send your 80s songs to CCP and hope they provide Gripen and us as a whole with updated dbdumpo soonÖ.

Gotta love the EFT warrior whining, another source of tears to sustain me :D
Seriously though, if you want to test some stuff out, get on sisi like the rest of us and wait patiently for an updated EFT. |

For those of you who are still having issues with saving the changes I can only suggest to 1) make sure you're using latest version 2) make sure your are not running EFT from read-only folder like "Program Files" in Vista.
Otherwise if anybody could came up with the solid way to reproduce it, it would be very helpfull. Btw, is there anyone with this problem on XP or is it only Vista\Win7 issue?
bolded for saving issues All the above is prolly crap Drone Guide

Originally by: Marverick245 Hi,
I'm a little confused. I'm entering ship loadouts based on loadouts from BattleClinic.com and I'm not getting the dps to match that of what was stated in the description. I have tried setting my skills all to lvl 5. but still it doesn't make that much of a difference. I'm pretty sure that it is not implants either since the difference is quite substantial.
As an example, in BattleClinic.com, there is this loadout: drake fit. It states there should be a dps of 667. EFT states the dps should be around 361. Am I doing something wrong?
Yes, you are.
EFT with lvl 5 skills that fit gets me 677 dps even. Throw in 5 hobgoblin IIs and Terror Rage missiles (t2) and you should see the difference..
Also generally implants can make a hell of a difference..

Basic Co-Processor & Co-Processor I are ok. I did not check anything not listed in this message.
You did notice the difference between - Nanoelectrical Co-Processor and Nanoelectrical Co-processor I etc right? Legacy EvE, there's a version without the 'I' and one with it for cpu upgrades, it's annoying and I don't think both types drop anymore (for years now), but, they are in the DB and certain old people have them still :P

Interesting - I'm trying to check but I can't get quite the numbers you've stated. Do you have a TB and/or Salvager module equipped ingame? It still looks (based on EFT-warrioring) that you appear to have shield upgrades at IV rather than V (if a salvager) - if a TB, the 7 PG listed for it in EFT would put you overlimit even with shield upgrades V. both put you at approx 102 PG which would match up fairly well with the numbers you've suggested.
I dont have any equipment beyond what I stated in my first post. Like I wrote before this fit works fine in EFT but when I try it in EVE I dont have enough PG (I got 96/100 PG in EFT).
Also tried to simulate this but I get 95/100 for your fit.. so somewhere there is something going pretty weird for your character set (if it also happens for your lvl 5 char).
invul = 1 power MSE II = 31 power base, lvl 5 shield upgrades = -25% = 23.25 grid 1*2 + 4*23.25 = 2 + 93 = 95 grid, there's no way you would get 96, unless something else is fitted.
I'd say, open char editor, import using api again, then check your implants and check your fit. Also, check your badgerII set up file and see if there is anything else in the set up file in EFT. All the above is prolly crap Drone Guide

I dunno, maybe when you update your EFT? See the OP to get your latest version, including obviously all the updates that already updated the rattlesnake, but also all the new limited ships and stuff, it's pretty kewl..

There is some stuff not showing, like certain faction ammo and such, but that's just because the stats are identical to one of the types that is shown. I haven't noticed this with modules, but I wouldn't be surprised/shocked/care if it happened.
EFT ftw (btw I only get it from eve-files, the other hosts I don't trust)

Originally by: Valgarth VanGraaf Hi there.
I just downloaded the latest version of EFT in order to try it out, but i got some major problems with it.
Mostly all the values shown in EFT differ from what is shown in EVE. I bought a GRIFFIN and compared the EFT-shown values ingame.
Without my char imported via API, EFT tells me the Griffin has got 1.160 effective HP. EVE says: 1.056 effective HP.
With char imported EFT says: effective HP = 1.334
Yesterday i fitted my Harbinger with EFT and got some 45.000 effective HP. After fitting the modules ingame it was just around 31.000 HP.
Now i deleted all EFT files twice, downloaded EFT twice, imported my Skills several times and finally set up my skills manually, but the problem still exists.
Any ideas what my mistake is ??
THX so far,
Val
I know noone ever uses searches on the interwebs, but I reckon you could find something like:
EvE calculates EHP solely based on the lowest resistance, while EFT calculates EHP based on the damage profile you put in,
which by default is omni (25% each damage type) which will always lead to higher EHP in EFT until you put in damage profiles that are 100% your weakest resistance. Ignore me
