Some of the "hardcore" (since that's the term that was used) joined Morsus Mihi. Some joined TCF. Some stayed behind and fought a mild guerilla war inside Fountain. Others left FA, formed new entities (corps like Shiva and Reformation, and and alliance - Vertigo Coalition) and did the same. Pretty much all no longer live in the Fountain region anymore.
Some still fight on the same basic side as before. Some do not.
It's all very complicated...just like FA used to be...heheh.
Shiva (which was called Cold Fusion, Elite Academy and a few others) during FA days stayed in Fountain until the summer of 2006. We left to join other former FA corps in Tribute as members of Morsus Mihi. Shortly after that, what was left of FA merged with NORAD to form RISE. RISE had lots of comings and goings and are now living as BoB tenants in Feythabolis, I believe.
Discussions of who was "hardcore" and who wasn't simply aren't necessary. No one had it easy.

Same here. FA was my first 0.0 alliance and I have memories both good and and bad. heheh.
I still have a cormorant that I used in fleet fights back then. I also remember Fluf leading fleets in a Griffen...lol.

A love of mining and soul-destroyingly long meetings?
Ah, the good old days
Mining ban in F-88, don't make me kill you!
Oh god...lol
...and the absolute DRAMA if someone popped an asteroid. "Sorry, <blank>, it was nice knowing ya..."

It's funny how much of the FA "politics" I just practically flushed from my consciousness. Seeing it brought back up here brings it back.
It's no wonder the alliance died...heheh.

Oh gawd...I remember those. Really funny to look back on stuff like that now. I don't think I've ever even heard of one of those happening anywhere since FA...heheh.

Originally by: M0RPH I still want to know if we are still KOS for killing that Serpentis dread. I've been waiting 1.5 years for that answer. :P
Probabbly not. Some of the same people who killed that dread later did some tasks for Serpentis and were given a vindicator BPC in return. Additionally, we flew down to Delve with a Serpentis squadron and dutifully acted the cannon-fodder role under BoBs guns.
In effect, I think we "paid them back."

From what I can tell of my time in VC and MM, there is a lot of fight, and a lot of remenence of FA left there. What I also experience were a lot of the same problems that divided FA. It's sick to know how much potential there is up in the north, and how little of it is realized on a daily basis. I think a lot can be said of FA in the same manner during it's run.
As all dead alliances see, a group held together, sharing similar beliefs, the rest divided and were absorbed by new empires. All that remains is a memory of what once was.
Come back...lead us to the Promised Land, Master Yaay!

I really enjoyed my time in FA and the friendships made back in those days - some who have posted here, and some who have not. To all of FA who might call me friend or acquaintance, I say hello
Miss ya, Coug. Glad to see you're flourishing with MC, though, man.
Say "howdy" to Strad for us, eh?
