Edited by: Chirinako on 11/05/2007 00:36:03 The way I see it, trying to be as fair to both sides as possible.
Chapter 1: -Bob **** alot of people off -Northern forces and allies decide to do something about it -Northern forces and allies mass capitals and freighters to strike
Chapter 2: -D2 and smaller allies jump 15-20 freighters and hit Fountain + make significant progress in the first week. -Iron/MM/Pure/Rzr/Triumvarte/some others attack Querious. Initial gang numbers top over 300, FIX can do little to defend but fighterbomb. Initial seiges on FIX's home system were defended with Bob capital support. Northern forces completely control every aspect of Northern Querious other than Sovereignty -Ragoon and allies steamroll Lokta Volterra in convincing style
Chapter 3: -Bob make a significant dent into D2's momentum in Fountain and slow them down, arguably being one of the most important moves in the outcome of the war so far. had d2 got a serious foothold in Fountain, Bob MAY have been in trouble. D2 fleet numbers still spike often -Assault on Querious lessens slightly but general control of traffic routes are still controlled by Northern Forces. FIX start winning a fleet engagement here or there when we're lucky enough to get even-ish numbers -Ragoon decide not to launch a fullscale assault on Ex-ASCN territory -Bob destroy D2 Erebus
Chatper 4: -D2's progress in Fountain has stalled to a stalemate due to Xelas's resourcefulness and resillience and continued Bob capital support. -Coalition capital fleets take significant losses in seiges of systems of strategic importance such as ED-, mainly due to BOB capital forces and smaller support gangs from the "pet" alliances -Ragoon still make no move -PURE. pos spam in 9cg and take sovereignty -Seige in Querious lessons further and a 2nd fullscale assault on ED- is thwarted relatively easilly with minimal Bob support. Chokepoints into Empire switching hands frequently throughout the day for a week or two
Chapter 5: -Northern Forces numbers begin to show signs of serious lacking especially in major fronts like Fountain and Querious. Where coalition gangs had been getting 200-300 pilots a night in Querious, their forces were struggling to reach 40 or 50 during the day and not managing to keep a sustained assault for longer than an hour. -Massive numbers of coalition capitals destroyed in the seige of Bob capital ship yards. -Around a month of no serious fleet engagements, small scale raiding is the height of excitement. -Bob and Pure. play Ping Pong in 9cg for a few weeks, BOB eventually take full control.
Chapter 6 -Bob hire MC to strike the north. MC hook up with YW and start the counterstrike -D2 begins to show signs of *****s, numerous corps leave taking assets with them. -by this point, MM/Trium/Iron/some others have left Querious leaving only Rzr and PURE. Rzr wardec FIX, and leave within a week. PURE. wardec FIX, after around a week, PURE. have 51% efficiency, FIX have 49. Only hostile forces left in Querious are PURE. Fountain is relatively empty.
Chapter 7: -The MC make their move north and alongside YW, make significant inroads through Fade and into Upper Deklein. -Bob move south and engage Ragoon -FLA surrender to The MC and allies, IC surrenders.
That's as far as I'm willing to go. At the start of this war, the odds were overwhelmingly against Bob's "pets", but we withstood the assault.
Ironicly, the tables have turned and now the main front is in Northern Territory. However, only a fool would underestimate alliances like Iron, Rzr and MM. They have it in them to turn it around, just like Bob and allies did. This war is FAR from over. I've been fighting Iron and co for 5 months and they're no slackers and certainly no pushovers.
May the best side win and may we all share the pewpew.
