Originally by: Lithalnas there is a class gap forming between the educated(BS/BA/PHd) and the uneducated(high school).
Why is this gap forming, because its all about money, those with the higher education get higher paying jobs and therefor join the upper middle class, those who remain uneducated stay in the blue collar jobs that don't pay as well. With this difference in income the two parties separate and issues of money become a bone of contention between them.
With a HS Diploma in America you can make $75000 a year after a few years in construction. Starting pay around 30-35k a year.
A lot of recent college graduates don't make that much.
So, you want everyone to have a 4 year degree?

I often get the impression Americans think they are the only ones in the world. Ok now that I got that out of my system..
Not trying to offend anybody but please look at the American culture if there where lots of smart people there I think things would be much different. At the moment the "rich" somehow rule the country (and they profit from stupid people) while there are more poor people then rich?! Somehow the main public supports a government that prefers to spend billions on a war in a far away country instead of there own country and fixing the huge social problems. just a few examples of strange things in the US ill refrain from going on any further since politics arent allowed.
Anyways not that I care that much. The more stupid people the more I can profit from.
Yeah, you're right. I think I'll move to England. Everything there seems much more logical.

It's not all about running around shooting people there are many chances to get qualifications in just about anything you want all paid for by the military.
Anyone who joins the military for any reason other than to kill people and blow stuff up (or assist those who do) joined for the wrong reasons.
