Apart from the HORRENDOUS lag during the first fight at the POS it's been a lot of fun. My Huginn managed to ignore me for 4 mins 32 seconds while it just flew in a straight line until it was pwnd by POS guns. At least I think that's what happened, I got a death mail and about 3 minutes later I was at a planet in my pod
But I'm back with a new ship now, let the fun continue =D

I spiced it up a bit in Photoshop ;)
It should look something like that ingame soon though, it's just a gaussian blurred layer set to Lighten so it's a lot like the lighting effects in the new engine.

Yeah my Tempest got owned about 5 minutes ago and I'm still staring at it sitting at the POS. Nothing works anymore =/

Like was said, the cyno went up at least 1 minute before the superweapon hit, lots of people hit warp as soon as it did but ofc most people's modules hadn't even turned on by then, and it was 4 minutes after we warped in.
Kudos to Chow for the good strike, but it wouldn't have been nearly as effective if people actually had control of their ships at any point in the 5 mins leading up to it.
I got some funny fraps of the event, can't see the superweapon hit though. Just everything lagged out, the screen freezes for 10 seconds, and suddenly there's wrecks everywhere

You were nowhere near the system in question so I'd appreciate it if you didn't give any input about the lag there. This thread has been nice so far stop trying to turn it into a smack fest, especially when you have no part in this fight.

Yeah, a bit early It's not every day so many ships get wiped off the screen in one go
But the fight goes on, back in a new ship now =)

oh, you want to say u guys hit warp like crazy every time when u see a new cyno in system ? good to know ^^
When it pops up right next to our fleet right after the hostiles start warping out? Yes, yes we would.

Winter just started here in Canada, first time in months we've had snow that's stayed around for more than a few days. Unless you count those weird northern provinces...
