Edited by: Count TaSessine on 16/10/2006 19:45:56 ISS Consido and ISS Fabrica (ISS Providence Outpost corporation), Catch and Providence
Current situation: ISS Consido (IS-R7P) and ISS Fabrica, two jumps away in QR-K85, are both online, tapping into markets in both Providence and northern Catch. POS fuel, industrial trade goods and skillbooks are available at Consido/Fabrica, providing some the conveniences of empire in 0.0. Office rentals and docking rates are prolific and generate much of the outpost's income. Local ISS and community-operated non-ISS intel channels are operating to help keep pilots safe and important instaÆs are sold often on escrow to those that need them.
Business plan: Production outpost Fabrica will have most Tech 1 module and ship BPOs under battleship placed on the market. Research will continue to be promoted among local corps and more bpcs will become availible on escrow. Tech 1 and Tech 2 mineral shipments will be made when required to keep the outpost stocked. Following "Invention" in Kali, it is hoped that Tech 2 production can begin at ISS Fabrica through tech 2 bpcs.
Dividend payouts: Oct 1 - 1,257,949,634.00 ISK Sep 1- 866,803,112.00 ISK * Aug 1 - 530,790,259.00 ISK Jul 1 - 1,448,462,083.00 ISK å
* September was the first month's payout since Fabrica went online 6th August. å This was the first payment and was inflated with leftovers from the construction fund.

Edited by: Count TaSessine on 16/10/2006 19:45:04 ISS Cassini, Pure Blind (ISS Cassini corporation), Pure Blind
Current situation: ISS Cassini is located in EC-P8R in Pure Blind, one jump from Empire. The revenue sources in order of importance to ISS Cassini are: Office rentals, docking fees, market orders, moon rentals, repair charges, manufacturing/research slot rentals, and clone fees. Due to a recent change of management and the reinstitution of docking fees, revenues have increased in all areas. ISS Cassini revenue is sensitive to the degree of local pirate activity, which has increased somewhat in early October. Currently one hostile POS exists in EC-P8R, but is not a threat to sovereignty.
Business plan: Because of the proximity to Empire space and higher than average combat activity in the EC-P8R chokepoint, ISS Cassini has a specialized fee and incentive structure. Office rentals are only 35M/month and have station service fee waiver benefits. In order to help pacify EC-P8R, a "good neighbour" program has been implemented to lower station fees for benign local corporations. The moon rental program is being revitalized. With 7 office slots still open and many moons unrented, there is still substantial additional revenue potential available.
Dividend payouts: Oct 1 - 788,075,412.00 Sept 1 - 408,791,923.00 August 1 - 744,222,236.00 July 1 - 644,965,299.00

Interstellar Starbase Syndicate [ISS] is an alliance which allows small and medium sized corporations access to 0.0 space under favourable conditions [see www.eve-iss.com for more information]. The alliance does not hold or claim territory anywhere in Eve.
The alliance operates a number of outposts which are owned by shareholders from all over Eve. Each month, the revenue from these outposts is paid out as dividends to the shareholders.
In addition, the alliance manages one non-public outpost on behalf of Lotka Volterra in Tenerifis.
Below this post you will find a financial report from the station manager of each of the public ISS outposts or outpost complexes.
Overall, the outpost business strategy of the ISS is a non-confrontational strategy, in the sense that we seek out areas in Eve with little or no infrastructure to build outposts. We believe this serves two purposes:
1/ In the long term, it is more profitable than building in areas with lots of previous infrastructure. Why compete with other over limited trade opportunities, when the Eve galaxy is so empty? 2/ Building outposts between existing territorial 0.0 alliances provide opportunities (OOC: and gameplay) to both our members and non-ISS inhabitants of the regions weÆre present in (OOC: including the pirates) as well as the neighbouring territorial alliances who gain additional potential channels for shifting their 0.0 produced items and minerals.
As a business strategy, a non-confrontational strategy is always riskier than conventional strategies which are molded to compete in fixed markets, but we believe our choice serves both the community and the shareholders better in the long run.
Feel free to ask questions to the station managers as you see fit. We will try to answer them to the best of our ability.

Small question: you mentioned "On most days 10-20 slots are in usage, but we have yet to see significant production queues" What would you see as the Top-3 causes for this ? is it lack of low end minerals ? lack of skilled manufacturers ? Or lack of buyers for the finished goods ?

Do ISS Logistics still offer the freighter services to the stations? If so can you tell us all the current standard rates and contacts?
Thanks,

Thanks.
As for the challenges with Tycho, yes, I'd say lack of minerals is the major inhibitor.

ISS logistics does not offer non-iss freighter transports anymore. while ISS logistics dedicates itself to stock ISS outposts with supplies. We have made a start with mineral stocks a few weeks ago, I brought 2 freighters full of tritanium and pyerite to tycho, which sold out very fast. I hope supply to ISS outposts will be more steady in the near future.

ISS only sells shares on the IPO. You might want to take a look on EGSE, or look at the sell forums. ISS management will happily act as a broker.

Edited by: Stins on 06/11/2006 18:44:48 November has been a very good month for all outposts. All outposts scored way above average payout. With some projects lined up within ISS, we expect to maintain this growth in the next months.
November 1 payout per outpost:
marginis: 2.500M isk borealis: 1.435M isk Providence: 1.732M isk Cassini: 732M isk

December dividend payout: (based on the EvE-mail ISS shareholders get when dividend get's paid)
ISS Marginis - 2.376.709.324 ISS Providence - 1.133.592.443 ISS Borealis - 793.533.020 ISS Cassini - 501.608.531
With the current growth of the EvE economy, and the increasing maturity of our financial and corporate system, perhaps it's time to start thinking about building one of each race type Outpost in the same constellation in one of the eight new regions? Doing that in multiple constellations in multiple regions would work too . At least build some Minmatar Outposts in the new regions, people are going to want to refine the drone loot.
Anyways, keep up the good work, and keep the dividends flowing .

January's dividends show a steady increase in income for ISS Marginis and ISS Providence, while ISS Borealis and ISS Cassini keep dropping in revenue. Perhaps a new direction is needed to make ISS Borealis and ISS Cassini profitable again?

They could start by getting blue with the major Northern alliances again. The guys shooting ISS are the same guys who aren't using ISS services. This applies more to Cassini than Borealis though, Borealis got FUBAR'd hard by D2 moving up to Branch and has never really recovered. ---- AUS Corp Lead Megalomanic |

Interesting numbers, its funny though how in the "wrath of the shareholders" thread Count T talked about how war was good for business, and in subsequent threads Count T has now said that war is bad for business.
These numbers suggest that Count's original position is correct, however makes one wonder, if things were really that bad for marginis would investors really know? I mean you guys just got tossed 100 bil + for your alliance IPO. Would be pretty easy to slip a bil or two on the Marginis payout without no one the wiser....

However I can no way "proof" it, us wiring cash from ISSO to ISSM corp would "solve" a bad month for the outpost, but in the long term, we would run dry on cash. We don't mess with the numbers.
ISSO dividends are expected tonight, as they need a bit more calculation instead of just hitting the dividend button.
About the northern outposts... We are aware of their performance and seeking how to get them back on track again.

I know ISS lost 2 dreads in the past week or so, and I know this war is going to drag on forever. How does capital ship loss's and this war effect the shareholders like myself.

You know comments like this really tick me off from an IPO. He asked a legit question, does it effect the share holders. Dreads are what? 2bil isk each. That is 4bil isk loss. Does that come from shareholders or from ISS. Does this war help the stations atm, or does it hurt them. Your suppose to be a public corp, you shouldnt attack everyones comments. -----------------------------------------------
