Since there isn't one around at the moment, and I was talking to a friend about what bonuses we'd be expecting for the new Tier 2 BCs, let's see what others are expecting.
Caldari Drake - 5% Kinetic Missile Damage and either 5% ROF (hopefully) or 5% missile precision (more likely). Amarr Betrayal - 5% ROF and -10% Cap usagage for medium energy turrets. Minmatar Hurricane - 5% Proj. ROF, and either 5% damage (godly), 5/7.5%/10% Falloff (5% maybe), or 5% velocity (ZOMG big stabber) Gallente Myrmidon - 5% med hybrid damage and +50m3 per level drone bay, OR 5-10% drone damage and +50m3 drone bay (awesome).
Since the Tier 1 BCs are mostly tank based, it'd be nice to get some good gank action going on with these babies.
Maybe 6-7 turrets for the Amarr BC, 6-7 for the Minnie, 4-5 for the Gallente and maybe 6-7 launchers for the Drake?
What is everyone else thinking?

Amarr: +50m3 drone bay/lv , +10% weapon cap usage or +5% rof +10% weapon cap usage
Minnie: +5% proj rof, +5% prj dmg or +5% missile rof. +5% speed
Calndari: +5% rof, +5% res
gallente: +50m3 drone bay/lv, + 10% drone range bonus or +10% damage/lv, + 10% drone range
i think is unlikely there will be both a 10% drone damage and 50m3 bonus as the ship will turn to be basically a cheaper domi.
i will also like to see a drone ship for amarr but i have not much hope :P

Amarr: +5% rate of fire, -10% cap use Caldari: +10% missile velocity, -5% rate of fire Gallente: +5% damage, +10% drone damage, HP and mining yield Minmatar: +5% damage, -5% rate of fire

While an MWD bonus sounds nice, I don't think a Minmatar ship really needs the cap once in range. Speed bonus would be cool tho.

Well according with the latest development blog, Kali I might be in singularity in about 2 weeks... I think the tier 2 BC are supposed to be deployed with Kali I so ...

Well, I've been looking at the Drake and drooling. ZOMG missile BC.
What I'd _like_ is 5% shield resists and 5% RoF per level. But I don't think that's likely, given that it seems to only be the turret ships in the caldari portfolio that get resists.
I'd settle for 5% rof, 10% missile velocity.
I'd expect 5% kinetic damage, and 10% velocity.
Slot layout, I'd assume comparable to the ferox, although hopefully a full rack of launchers.
7/5/4. Although I'd hope for maybe another mid or low in there. (Probably mid given caldari).
Stats wise, I'd hope for a little more speed and agility than a ferox, as it'll be less able to 'sit and duel', but again, it's caldari, so they don't seem to do speed or agility.

According to the patch note bitty they are not even in testing yet. Where the Tier 3 bs' are. I would presume that means we get the BS's in Kali and the BC's much later on.
Anyone got any more concreate info?

Since the Abaddon will be another pew pew pew gunboat, I hope the tier 2 Amarr BC will be something slightly different from the current line up. Drones, Missiles, EWar.. anything but pure DPS and zero utility.

Seriously, with the req for those ships (BC 2, they're tier 2), that would mean a dronebay bigger than those of almost every battleship ... on a battlecruiser ... a bit too much, IMHO.

Check the Ishtar please.
Perhaps 50 would be a bit much, but the +drone bay does occur on a few ships, Ishkur as well.

Perhaps 50 would be a bit much, but the +drone bay does occur on a few ships, Ishkur as well.
I did, before posting.
I noticed that it was the same bonus, but the Ishtar is a TECH 2 ship, not a TIER 2, TECH 1 ship ... and also, it's the only ship with that +50m¦ bonus currently, the Ishkur has a +5m¦ per level, ten times less.
Now, if you want a fully insurable tech 1 ship with low reqs to be on par or even better than a Tech 2 ship with a mile long list of pre-requesites, fine by me, but I still think it's a bit too much.

Results from this... caldari will usually be the best ship in most groups, with gallente having a chance to beat it if it can get into range. minmatar and amarr might have a chance if they use ew/nos vs caldari.

The names are from the old data about the ships, so I guess they could have changed.

Hopefully the Myrmidon doesn't have the OMGHUGE number of high slots, just to prevent it from becoming a cheaper nosdomi.

i was thinkin maybe the Gallente Tier 2 BC could get +20 or 25 M3 of drone bay space per lvl, and as far as i see the gallente bc should have nos's with the lowamount of grid it has not like its gonna be a turret boat

The names are set, they are much newer than the old data (contemporary with tier 3 battleship names, which are also set).
Also note that most likely the Myrmiddon (Gallente) will be the one with fewest hardpoints. We're looking at around 6 turrets (and utility slot) for the Myrmiddon, 7 to 8 for the Betrayal (Amarr) and Hurricane (Minmatar), and 6 or 7 launchers plus a few turrets for the Caldari. Additionally, the Myrmiddon's dronebay will most likely end up in the Typhoon range. These are damage battlecruisers. They'll have a tremendous difficult job staying alive against battleships, but if protected or ignored they will deal damage rivaling battleships with a tracking that's many times better. - Three years old |

6-2 for a gunboat is sex already, given the double bonus. It's not like you wouldnt put NOS, even on an 8-x .

For the Myrmidon I personally don't want a dronebay size bonus, its plenty of space as it shows now.
I would personally love a: 5% Sensor Damp effectiveness / 10% Drone dmg/hp per lvl
Also, current data shows hardpoints on the Myrm are: 8 Highs (6 Turret/1 Missle)
To me, that screams 6 Heavy Ion II/2 Med Diminishing NOS and as much gank as I can fit :)

This the patch notes were updated today as T2 BC are now listed in the In Testing section, so looks like they will be here with Kali 1

I think the should get more bonuse for gang moduals and less of the other bonuses :) Kinda like the Fleet Command is it? Whatever one it is that can use 3 gang mods. Fleet, field is confusing. Logistic/combate. I like things streaght forward

Ive got a tip for the amarr players that want drones, missiles and ewar... train OTHER races. If you want these things, it means you are tired of Amarr. One race arent supposed to do it all you know. You have the freedom to try some other race in this game. And you will like the experience.
The only skills that doesnt carry over are the tech 2 laser skills. Most everything else you can use on the other races ships as well. When im sick of autocannons, I wont complain and try to get a pure missile ship. I will train caldari.
if i remember right there is a amarr drone boat cruiser even, they can use them tho it's not a typical amarr ship, and anyways high level amarr ships have drone bays so no need to change them while missles for amarr and gallente are rare so not much needed to train those, projectile is optional if you want to be different
