Risk/Reward ratio way out of whack. Extremely difficult to complete solo without a gimmicky fit. Are you sure these aren't level 5 missions already? Can you see the rapier?: http://imgur.com/aFelCpv,GH6lqDE |

This clearly demonstrates why the no-penalty design of Burner Missions was a good idea. well, getting this missions 6 jumps away in 0.0 npc space may have something to do with it, also; about half the missions i got are over 3 jumps away... like really, can't you guys do something about it, moving 6 jumps in 0.0 to complete a mission is a bit different than moving 6 jumps in empire... You have a frigate, as long as you look at least at the in-game map instead of moving blindly in, NullSec isn't that bad. Hell, a few days ago I did the Caldari Epic Arc and moved about a dozen jumps around in Serpentis NullSec and never even met anyone.
i don't know where you are running missions, but in my eve corner of the universe, i have at least 5-10 neutrals in local all the time; more than that, three jumps away in any direction i have 2 systems with about 10-20 neutrals in local about 24/7; so yea, tell me again how looking at the map will help me avoid getting killed; and getting killed isn't the problem, i can avoid that pretty good, the problem is the time you need to get there and come back; most of the time, you will have a gate camp on the way back, so, much better to avoid burner missions and run some normal lvl 4s instead of being camped for hours in a systtem |

But at this point, I'll take any graphs, even if they prove me wrong, because that will at least TELL me that CCP isn't trying to sweep it under the carpet.

Breaking the record using minimal effort is so EvE...
I demand even more graphs to manifest this record!
As I was one of the players asking you to give numbers on whether those missions were completed using teamwork or not I have to tell you I'm still unsure about it.
Every now and then you see those EvE is dying threads ... ehm... those "make PvE more interesting!" theads popp up. You did by introducing the burner missions and it is sad to see 85% of them were declined.
That's (as far as I can tell) 7.5% of all offered burner missions completed by multiple accounts (50% of those 15% done) 92.5% of all offered burner missions completed by solo players (declined or succeeded without player interaction) How many of those 7.5% were done by a single IP adress (say: "Power of 2, sometimes it is easier to make your own alt account instead of interacting with other human beings!") is yet unknown.
Sadly that would be my bet for the new burnergang missions: 92.5% will be declined
If we consider that not every account is into missionrunning you are creating content for what... 0.5% of all players at best?
I see that creating and testing a new NPC AI could be benefitial to future projects, but for now I only see a new burner-subculture raising next to the already existing incursion-subculture. Another "invite only" group of players with close to 0% interaction to TQ. No standing loss for either declining the mission or killing the NPC shouldn't be existent in a game where "every action will have an effect on your future and other players" |

The systems is still far too predictable for my liking. It would have been better it you came up with several different AI routines that were randomly allocated to the burner NPC so people didn't know what to expect.
... That said, they are better that the old mission style. +1 |

Yes. They are not supposed to be easy. However I can personally confirm that they are all doable solo, and just over 50% of all burners are completed solo so plenty of other people have also managed it. Game Designer | Team Five-0 https://twitter.com/CCP_Fozzie http://www.twitch.tv/ccp_fozzie/ |

CCP Fozzie wrote:Once we're done communicating the Oceanus changes I'm planning to put some of the stats surrounding wormholes into a form fit for public consumption. The sneak peek is: overall changes have been surprisingly small (in both directions). Unless you are sufficiently detailed you'll never diffuse the wormholer complaints. Sure, you'll always still have some holdouts, but those who are honestly trying will base their arguments on the numbers and shut up when the numbers prove them wrong.
So compare all statistics to the same time interval one year ago, covering the period of two months leading up to Hyperion through whenever you pull the data, to make sure to account for changes going from the "summer lull" back into active season:
- number of online towers in wormhole space, total and per day, broken down by class
- number of individual character login events in wormhole space, total and per day, by class
- number of character login events in wormhole space who are members of corps which have towers in wormhole space, total and per day, broken down by class of system where corp towers are located, including a category for "Multiple"
- total number of towers onlined for the first time, by class
- total number of towers unanchored, by class
- number of NPCs killed in wormhole space, total and per day, by class
- number of players killed in wormhole space, total and per day, by class: by other players alone, by other players and npcs, and by npcs alone
- number of players killed in wormhole space while under polarization timer, total and per day, by WH class and by ship class
- number of wormholes in wormhole space collapsed before end of life timer, total and per day, by class
If these numbers show that minimal, if any, changes happened in activity levels, then once people see this, they will have no standing to complain.
Edit: Just to address accusations that incursions are stealing content from wormholes, could you also add:
[*]number of incursion npcs killed, total and per day, over the same time period, broken down into nullsec, lowsec, and hisec |

I think little if any changes in activity will be a slight cause for concern. These changes "should" cause things to shift a bit... thats what people are in a panic about.

Could be interesting to add some Empire & CONCORD NPC's for burner missions from the Pirate factions, or even some of the Empire ones. I would love to murder some elite Federation NPC's. :D Lieutenant Turelus Caldari Independent Navy Reserve The Fourth District

However, a modification of that idea by adding Burner Cruisers or Battleships to Level 5 mission pool could be more viable in my opinion.

All your precious graphs are wrong.
The early graphs and percentages about kill ratios do not take into consideration the quit's and declines. If you put all those early graphs inside the big decline graph they are worthless. Even the not declined 7% is full of quits lol.
So can we have a proper percentage of players that tried and succeeded. it is probably less than 1% and probably not mission running 'alts' .
