I won a Scorch M BPO. So what should I do with it? Even researching it looks like a minor pain. |

Research it up a bit, then build and sell.
Or sell to me. I'm looking for BPOs atm... not sure how good a scorch is though. I'd have to look it up ingame.

Virosa,
You could always trade it to a Corporation for an already-researched BPO, if you're into manufacturing. Or you could pay a research-oriented character/Corp to do ME and PE runs for you, if you can trust them.
The best bang for your buck if you want to get rid of it quick would probably be to put it up for sale on the Seller forums here, though. Alot of Corps scope that out from time to time, and I wager you'd get a decent price that way.

My sugjetion would be to take the time to do some research on it. Then make some money selling copies on escrow.

It takes a long time to make copies of T2 BPO's. He's be better off researching it, then building and selling it.
Selling the BPO outright via an auction with a minimum bid is another option.

Edited by: Drekkan Noldaris on 01/05/2006 18:00:57 Since I don't think he wants to bother with research, he's probably best off with the auction route. It'd fetch a pretty penny.

Search through the forums to see previous auction pricing for it or similar ammo. Dump it up on http://www.eve-bay.biz when you have an idea of what it is worth and set appropriate reserves and buy out prices. You can also ask in the Blueprints channel (ingame). Just make sure you get 2 estimates.

Thanks for the info/advice/offer/bumming. I'll just train up laser physics so I can reseach it while deciding what do.
Two more questions.
How much material research usually goes into such things?
If the R.Db is consumed at a rate of 15% per run does that mean it uses one for every 6 runs and I'm left with a bunch of leftover 5% R.Dbs? |

Damn good Qà The way it works is that if you put in enough runs to run the unit above the 100% damage then it is destroyed. If you run it less then it is damage and can be fixed to run again.
Just remember to keep an eye out for scammers... Like the 9th Ferengi rules of acquisition say... Opportunity plus instinct equals profit.
And as rule 284 saysà Deep down we are ALL Ferengi
