Indefinitely? It does have very nice resists + a smaller sig radius than battleship weapons. Any way it could be pulled off?

like i said, gistii smalls. and at 60mil a piece, they are hardly a big expense compared to losing a hulk

No, but they're like kicking a man when he's down when you go pop and lose 1 or 2.

Well, I've fitted 400mil isk of modules on a 200mil isk ship - why not 200mil isk of modules on a 400mil isk ship?
Of course, the Eos didn't actually need any of those faction toys, but it made for impressive stats. --- Our greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising up every time we fail. - Emerson |

A gistii fitted Hulk can quite easily tank multiple BS spawns if their damage output is right. ___________________________ Brutors Rule! My Eve-vids; Click. |

I've seen it done with gistii sbs and faction passive hardeners. Remember that with good compensation skills faction passives are nearly as good t1 actives, and combined with the base resistances it gives a solid tank.

If ur in a gang op its far easier to kit the hulk with mining upgrades and t2 strips, leaves no space for a booster but if u fit 3 hardeners, (i dont think u'll get 4 on) a bs fitted with a large shield extender is enuff to make the hulk damn near invicible. And its a smeg load cheaper than a gistii a-type.
