This new fancy technology takes time to get used to *grumble grumble* but I'm on #tweetfleet and the client is running whenever I'm at the computer.

Arydanika wrote:Much love to the Community Team. I've had a chance to talk to/work with a lot of them. It was heartbreaking to this chapter of their career close. My condolences to those that have parted and I wish you the best and all that you do. To those that remain on/have joined the team; I look forward to working with you.
Will any specific Community person pick up CCP Zymurgist's Fan-Site Project?
Thank you for your kind words.
We will pick it up collectively along with other projects while we re-organize. Feel free to mail me if anything is needed in the short term.

This plan is still in the design stage and we hope to bring you a blog on it in the coming weeks. The new volunteer moderator team will have a different role than before and will not be in a position to ban other players accounts or see any alts. We understand that this is something players are concerned about so we will be providing you with a very in depth blog explaining their role over the coming weeks. hard to compete with free labor
The volunteer program has been something we've needed for a long time actually. CCP Guard | EVE Community Developer |

Crunchmeister wrote:Still unsure how the "less people to do more work" theory that repeatedly fails when its implemented in other companies is supposed to be a good thing that will make CCP's historically dismal customer relations better.
In fairness, I'll say that CCP has bee far more open and forthcoming in the recent weeks than ever before. And it seems that the "give the customer what they want" philosophy is starting to take root. Whether that model will be allowed to grow and flourish remains to be seen.
I'm hopeful, but at the same time, based on a well-established track record, not holding my breath.
I'm glad you've noticed the change these last few weeks. We aim not to disappoint in the next few either. I hope you'll like what you see. CCP Guard | EVE Community Developer |

Gripen wrote:CCP Navigator wrote:... volunteer moderator program. This won't end well.
When we made the decision, several weeks ago, to bring the volunteer program back we sat down and looked at what players were unhappy with in the past. We intend to work closely with everyone in Customer Relations and with the CSM to ensure that we produce a program which allows volunteers to keep the forums clean but not access other players information.
You should expect a fully comprehensive blog in the next two weeks which will explain everything.

Crunchmeister wrote:Please keep it up. But also, please pardon any skepticism in my tone. CCP as a whole still has to prove themselves to the customers after the recent string of fiascos and inability to provide any significant content since Apocrypha. To paraphrase Hilmar "We'll watch their actions, not their words".
Nothing to apologize for! It was a really diffcult and disappointing time for the Community. And the scepticism is well deserved in my opinion.
Watch the coming days and months, judge us by our actions then! CCP Phantom - German Community Coordinator |

oematoema wrote:Nice words, great promises, been there, done that. I'm really sorry for my scepticism, but I seriously wonder if this new and improved 'Community Team' will take a look at my post here. I will be pleasantly surprised if this can get an answer, ANY answer, because my previous attempts at pointing your attention at this apparently failed miserably.
I just replied to it. Please note that while we try to answer questions as soon as possible, it still might take time.
Buzzmong wrote:Seeing as Guard is now part of Customer Relations, are we going to see a video in the near future about the new department?
"Yo, We're Customer Relations and we have a rapport, with the peeps on the forums and others that talk,
We deal with petitions, we deal with the banks, just to ensure you can keep talkin' smack..."
I'm a terrible lyricist, but you get the idea.
As a matter of fact, yes. There will be a video blog about the Customer Relations department, although it remains to be seen whether it will include rap songs.

We will definitely continue supporting them, just like we did before, but there is always room for improvement. Anything specific you have in mind?
EDIT: Unless you mean the live events, in which case you might find this post from CCP Dropbear interesting. CCP Spitfire | Russian Community Coordinator @ccp_spitfire |
