EVE Search - Is the game beyond reach?

lolololo	Posted - 2003.08.06 01:58:00 - [1] Now that all the pirates are hardcore - and blocking all the gates out of 0.0 sectors - its not possible to mine or hunt in these areas with any safety doesnt this make the game really boring/pointless for the rest of us? what can we do but mine omber all day, whilst they continue to make a hell of a lot of money? game seems pointless to continue - we cant ever beat them, and now 50% of the game is out of bounds?

You would think that by now game companies might start to clue into the fact that a player whose run into a problem is already in a bad mood. I have lost cargo to pirate pilots with +9 ratings and I have seen legitimate businessmen destroyed as they shoot a mine that was targetted at them. You brave hardworking pirates pat yourselves on the back all you want; I am always willing to take my share of losses because someone plays better or has better strategy. Grid exploits are not ok, neither is exploiting stupid concord with mines or -9.9 ratings. My vision is that someday markets will be closed to individuals who do not meet local standards, that empire controlled facilities give full disclosure of usage by persons who have complaints filed against them. It is not legitimate citizens who should be running through blockades but pirates who should be running from the authorities.

Well, you can't honestly say all the serpentis/sansha/etc pilots who hang around and own the 0.0 space welcome people with positive security with flowers... :s That they're even less effective at their work than Concord, is another story....
