I have a couple of serious questions for you as a concerned veteran player.
1)How would you respond to the accusation by many of the veteran player base that the focus of CCPÆs development of EVE has moved from ôEvolutionö in the early years to ôAdditionö these days?
For the first 4/5 years of EVE the game was frequently refreshed with new content that evolved the game play experience. Adding new ships such as Tech 2 and capital ships, changes to speed and hit points and new modules such as bubbles etc etc etc (to name but a few) all changed the playing field, refreshing PVP and making it necessary to adapt and evolve tactics for PVP.
In the last few years we have seen a shift away from evolving the core of eve game play, to adding new additions which do not directly affect the games core unique feature, PVP. Giving us the ability to own parts of planets, blob PVE and later in the year getting out of our space ships is nice in concept and I am sure great for marketing but not at the expense of the core game stagnating.
How would you address the concerns of the veteran players feeling this way?
2)I noticed this battle report in another thread recently. http://eve-kill.net/?a=kill_related&kll_id=9504741
On one side of this battle there were over 30 titans and well over 100 supercarriers! Is this the way you want the game to evolve? Not just capitals online but now supercapitals on line?
How do you address the obvious concerns that this raises for the future of the game in a few years and what are you going to do about it?
3)I am a member of one the last corps to try to continue to practise piracy as it was in the old days, with an original goal on our conception 5+ years ago of staying as true pirates in low sec forever. We have recently decided to try a little trip to null sec to get away from the incredibly dated and broken Low sec that we have lived in for these past 5 years and the stagnating and degrading game play offered to pirates in Low sec.
If corps such as mine are doing this then Piracy really is on its last legs and low sec is in a pretty dire way for small gang combat.
Does this concern you at all? and if so what and when can we see something being done about it?

An ex-employee review of CCP posted on glassdoor.com on 5th Feb 2011 ( http://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/Employee-Review-CCP-Games-RVW800360.htm ) had this to say about training of, and investment in, your developers:

After reading yet another article advocating investment in and training of developers (latest here: http://www.softwarequalityconnection.com/2011/05/i-like-my-it-budget-tight-and-my-developers-stupid/ ) I've become increasingly worried that whatever cream-of-the-crop you employed years ago has gone sour and their skills are out of date because of a lack of a sensible training regime at CCP.
How accurate and widespread is the training situation as described above in the review at glassdoor? What sort of training do your employees do on company time so you can make sure their skills are up to date and relevant for the coding tasks you will be giving them? -----

What are your bases to set/improve/nerf ships/weapons when you clearly don't answer to players feedback in several threads.
Are you intending to set free source items code and UI code so experienced players can create Addons little more realistic than Eft and the actual UI?

Assault Ships? Corp Interface? Add Corp Bookmarks? Add separate PERSONAL wallet tabs? When will CCP remove or make GUI rename options when rename isn't available? (aka Corp Hangar, mobile warp bubbles, etc)
Allow RENAME in addition to REMOVE bookmarks off right click.

I recruited many people to EVE online. Three of them decided to buy the game through steam, and as a result of using a CD key, I recieved no free game time. Are there any plans to change it so that CD keys count as valid for recieving the 30 days for recruiting someone (and now the PLEX option as well)?
If not, why not?

You may have been asked this before but would it be entirely unreasonable to request some mechanism for training your characters on one account at the same time? For instance if two are training have the training time on both doubled and if all are training have the training time on each tripled? Not all of us can afford multiple accounts you know .

How flexible do you invision the UI to be in final form? Diffrent UI possible per ship/ choice betwean classic and three-D version?
When will the report bot button be added?
Update on the new server blade that was talked about at fanfest.
Any chance we can request new agents at stations now that they are simpler?
Will the agent discriptons be updated to reflect what types of missions are given.
Have the combat missions been seperated betwean faction warfare type missions and pirate type missians. So agents can be found that only give positive security status without killing sec status of a faction. This is what was missing in the system si it still? While harder it was the documention that was missing and the option to opt in/ opt out of the diffrent types of missions that was needed/ the choice.

Is the lifetime of the Eve universe directly related to the age of the original code that created it i.e if technological and software developments carry on at current levels will the game eventaully become obsolete?
If not, have you a plan for parts of the Eve universe code to be updated and upgraded to become more 'future - proof' or will you have to eventually throw away the original code and produce a new 'version'?

will EVE menus ever get an accelerator shortcuts?
this could solve many problems of the interface, for example if I want to recall drone QUICK I would only click it with a special button on my programmable mouse with 18 buttons ... instead of trying to visually locate and point the menu option and finally pressing a button when the drone is already dead.

I am a software programmer and have a technical question. You guys handle many different languages within EVE and I'm wondering how you gracefully handle translation text sizing differences within static GUI elements. For example the "Undock" button in my fictitious language might translate to "ASDFGHJKLQWERTYUIOP". How would you guys go about handling cases where the translated text does not fit within it's given rendering area?

What is CCP actually proposing regarding Agent payouts, LP, and the removal of the various "_____ Connections" skills being reported on Singularity at the moment?
Is agent quality now variable? What's up with the reduced variety of agent types? Is LP payout being reduced overall? or just need different standings but can still squeeze the same Isk/hour from missioning as before?
Big changes, big ramifications, no announcement from CCP = one panicky, confused, group of players that's quickly growing....

How many more pages does the management need to see that:
1) there needs to be more and permanent dialogue/communication between players and developers in the Feature&Ideas forums,
2) there needs to be better tracking and collaborative f&i (we can't find **** in a forum, stuff get's closed after 90 days and common stuff get's started in a new thread every other day!),
3) there needs to be easier and collaborative bugreporting options (preferably in a bugtracking system that all players can access and add to),
4) the Devs developing a feature and posting a blog and asking for feedback actually STAY in those threads longer than page 3 or 4 and not abandon them (some devs actually seem to think that after writing the blog they're done.. what kind of feedback-PROCESS is that?),
5) that some of the questions here seem to come from noobs who obviously have BIG problems accessing this kind of information on your website..

You want to write software that stays with us for several years.. implement feedback loops that have a turnaround time of 1 month max. At the moment you either have no feedback loops at all (reaction only when **** blows up in your and/or our face) or the turn around times are 6 months. Some teams got that worked out a bit - like the team who was responsible for the CC.. the feedback was implemented within 3-4 weeks. Compare that with the web-team.. 2 months and still nothing.

Will you be implementing a little button in the directional scanner to switch between km and AU? I can't imagine this would be difficult to implement, it's a simple math conversion.

Got one more for the technical guy among you..
Why is it that after all these years and all the balancing hickups and ****storms no one at CCP developed or even just envisioned a way to get the VALUES of SHIPS, MODULES, EQUIPMENT and STUFF IN THE ENVIRONMENT into a separate system that is easily accessible and modifiable and can be pushed onto the client/server every 2 weeks? Why not CCP? If this is actually the first time you see this idea.. how long would it take you to implement something like that? When could we start to live in the era of FastLoopedBalancingÖ?

Is it possible for players, through legit game mechanics (and not alliance tournament), to travel to and live in Jove or any other such empire which is not accessible through a typical stargate or wormhole?
Note that I am asking if it is possible. Is there another layer to Eve (like this) or not?
