Do I need to get neutron blasters on this thing somehow so I can hit to the edge of scram range? Electron blaster fit has way better EHP, DPS, tracking, and a Neut, but wouldnt hit something at 8km at all.

to my knowledge Harpys better off doing what it does best and sitting out of range and blasting targets to bits with rails but thats just my opinion not sure on effective blaster fits

out of all I tried 75mm rails/antimatter works best, not blasters/bigger rails Blasters hardly benefit from harpy's double range bonus, while 125/150 rails are too heavy on fitting leaving no room for tank |

106dps with 3% hardwires 101 + 14km range overload AB to 1.1km/sec should get you back to the gate if camped.
This set up will get you on every kill-mail in a fleet, keep you outa range, pop bombers (miss the old days of expensive rigs, they were juicy kills)
imo if you want to melee the Ish'kur and Enyo are better.

Edited by: Mutnin on 06/05/2011 23:16:52 None of fits are using the ship for what it is best at and that's being a damage dealing mofo.
Who needs tank when you have a frig that can out put over 300 DPS? A Harppy's tank is structure and a DCU II, anything else is.. meh..

By an Enyo or Wolf and leave this thread alone tbh...
75mm is best solo set up, 150 rails is best fleet support set up, neutrons set up is for when you need to rat belts and dont have Enyo Wolf Jaguar Iskur Retri at hand and simply must use AF... Arguably my opinions represent to an extent the opinions of my alliance and in particular circumstances give rise to a valid "casus belli" claim. |
