Hello everyone,
Three guys are looking for a corp; although we are pretty fresh in EVE (not counting some lvl4 missions a couple of years ago on different accounts) I donÆt think we are what you would call a typical newbie. Before you will go ôyeah, right you noobö, please let me explain.
First of all, we all have extensive gaming experience, on the very top, competitive level, including #1 ladder spots in various RTS and FPS titles. In terms of MMORPGs, weÆve been playing Lineage2 (one of the castle holding guilds) and WoW (arena gladiator titles and that s..t).
I know it means literally nothing in EVE. And I am not saying all that to wave my e-peen in your general direction, but to prove that we actually treat what we do quite seriously. Although we do not plan to be ôhardcoreö in EVE to the level weÆve used to be, and despite a fact that we canÆt live our lives online anymore, we still fully intend to achieve something in this game. I admit that our EVE knowledge is... close to nonexistent. But I simply hope that we are a good material to be taught.
What we are looking for:
- PVP orientated corporation which would take us under its wing (PvE is ofc fine to build / fund the ships / whatever, but preferably not as a main goal),
- Ideally an organization which could offer full PVP experience; access to lowsec, warp & 0.0 warfare would be great,
- Although piracy is somehow tempting, we would prefer to see some other things before (eventually) going -10,
- Friendly, partnership like atmosphere where people enjoy their companionship and help each other,
- No virtual, internet ****s bossing everyone around (donÆt get me wrong - we are fine to follow orders & directions),
- No 13 year olds please. They are of course fine, but not as a CEO...
What we offer:
- Low level of noobness; you really donÆt have to explain to us basic mechanics of the game. We know how to set up our skills, ships and how to fly them,
- You donÆt have to sponsor us. We are not looking for a corp to leech on and to receive freebies. We are able to sustain ourselves pretty well. And it includes losing ships without going emo,
- By getting us on board, you can be sure you do not invite ôdrama queensö. Quite the contrary, we are mature, experienced individuals with good sense of humour,
- If you need someone to scout, bait, fly minerÆs escort for a couple of hours or even to run some errands, itÆs fine for us. We do not want to be a burden. We want to be an asset!
- TS, Ventrillo (including voice discipline etc.) goes without saying...
What we canÆt offer:
- High skillpoints characters with ôall Vsö. Our chars are LOW on skill points. Means we are currently skilling to fly T2 fitted AFs (couple of days left) to offer at least some degree of usefulness,
- Being online 23/7. Fortunately (or unfortunately) we have our families, jobs, houses, dogs, motorbikes, drink contests etc. Although we do intend to spend a couple of hours each day online,
- Thorough understanding of EVE. I believe weÆve learned all we could without bugging someone around... but we know nothing about 0.0, politics and actual low sec PVP. Yet. And yes, IÆve been concordinated already ;)
- Native English speakers. But you can judge by this post if we can use this language or not...
The more complicated, the more challenging game, the better. EVE got it all. But as with all MMORPGs you canÆt experience it alone. And the most important decision is always careful choice of people you will hang up with (and spend a couple hours each day), possibly for the years to come. ThatÆs the reason for this post.
All the best and hope to talk to you soon.
