EVE Online: Tyrannis is now live. We realize there may be issues that crop up with the expansion, particularly in its early days. We want to know about any difficulties you encounter with Tyrannis and its features, so please use this thread to list any playability issues that you experience on Tranquility. The EVE developers will be monitoring this thread to check for any reported issues and we will provide updates when possible.
Please be sure to note which client you are using (Windows or Mac) if you believe the issue is client-specific.
For general feedback on Tyrannis, please post in this thread.

The thing is, C: is a 128 gig Intel SSD with about 90 gigs free and D:, as I said, is a 4 terabyte raid array connected to an Areca 1220 controller with all of about 2.7 terabytes free. So its conclusion that I don't have enough space free is absolutely, positively, unequivocally incorrect.
I managed to apply the update by copying the D:\Games\EVE directory to "C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE", running the update manually (after downloading it again because your downloader deletes itself without asking, even when there's an error, thanks) and pointing it to that location. It installed without a hitch that way. Then of course I copied it back to the raid array.
I'm kinda curious as to how you managed to write something that can't perform a simple task like estimating the amount of free space correctly? Things like GUID partition tables do exist these days, you know.
This is on Win7 x64, 12 gigs RAM, etc etc
We are aware of this issue, but we don't have a solution for it. You're just too much for us to handle

You can scan planets outside your solar system if they are within 1 light year.

We took Tranquility down to try and fix some issues. The server is currently up in VIP mode while we test our fix. The server did not crash.

TQ is now open again following the deployment of a fix for the standings issue with starbases.
The right aligning of distance in overview is by design.
We are aware of the issue with portraits in EVE Gate and working to fix it.
Those players reporting issues with their corp logos, could you please submit a bug report with an image of the corp logo and point out exactly what was changed? If you have an image from before the patch that would be splendid, thank you.

If you are on a Windows machine, please try deleting both the cache and the settings folders for your client (they should be in AppData in your user folder under CCP\EVE\<client path>).
Then try patching by either using the autopatcher or downloading the full patch from HERE.
If you have already uninstalled your client, try the full installer from HERE.

Oneiro I uninstalled and reinstalled the entire EVE client, I don't think the Cache was an issue, unless the uninstaller doesn't remove it?
Please try manually deleting both folders.

I get the same error. i.e. Select your profile, select your corporation, and then click the "Add Contact" on the left. You get the error regardless which standing is picked.
I was able to add my alliance to my contacts with no problems.

Thanks for the reports people, this has been fixed in an internal build. Keep the EVE Gate reports coming, we are listening and filing defects :)

The idea of EveGate is good in that you can use it out of game. I can use it in work, but can't send messages to people, especially other Corps/Alliances when they appear in this way.

We are aware of this issue. It's fixed in a new build that will go out soon.
