Edited by: Triniton on 14/04/2010 13:17:21 Edited by: Triniton on 14/04/2010 13:12:08 Last night members of Zombie Inc started a massive volcano under a small glazier in Iceland. http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2010/04/14/iceland-evacuates-hundreds-near-restless-volcano/ Its considerably larger than the one that just ended nearby and could last over two years.
Since evacuation has been completed Zombie Inc will move in and seize the carebears lifestock.
You can follow the volcano on http://www.icenews.is/

Video of the glazier melting. Early news suggest his will "probably" not affect Iceland Glacial but may cause a new flavor to be released "soon".

Its in the same area. No signs of activity in Katla this morning but chances are Katla will follow this volcano but when/if that will happen is not good to say according to experts.

Another video of the volcano, showing the shockwaves and explosions.
On a side note: The foreign press has obviusly focused most on the fly-ban that followed the ash, but not reported about the terrible conditions of the people that live in that area, mostly farmers. The noise from the volcano, the pitch black conditions in the middle of the day and the loss of animals that have had to been put down since the new eruption. People can bearly go out of the house, get little to no sleep due to noise and seeing their lands being destroyed is truely tragic.

Same here, they say that some of the lava-chunks that the volcano spits out in the air are the size of a car. Unbelivable force.

Until the eruption is over that is, volcanic ash is some of the most fertile soil types imaginable. That'll be green again in no time flat. But until then, yes it must be pretty horrible for those living just far away enough to not have been evacuated.
I hope so. It rained a couple of days ago and turned the ash into a concrete like cover :)
