This will be the last weekend Sylramic Fibers will sell below 200 pu. Current Jita prices have them running about 185.
My next Pro Tip will be buy Sylramics for a short term 20% to 40% profit.
I know the ney-sayers will accuse me of trying to profit on this, but alas alas alas, I have invested everything elsewhere.

I'm not so sure on the Sylramic Fibers. I think there's a good chance they'll have slump just like Titanium Carbide and Tungsten Carbide are showing now, before re-surging again.
Pretty much everything you need sylramics for, you need the carbides for, so those two which are now pretty close to their 'normal' pre-sisi-buff levels are probably fairly safe bets.

Edited by: RAW23 on 11/10/2009 13:03:45 Thanks for the tip. I'm still pretty new so was going to wait for a patch to come and go before experimenting with news led trading but the fibres seemed to good an op to pass up. Picked up 400mil worth yesterday for 185, sold today for 235. Nice 100mil profit or so. Still don't have the stones to stick with something like this for the long haul yet though.
Edit - btw, does anyone have any disaster storied about patch led trading. Anything that was supposed to go up in the past but ended up being nerfed? Be interested to know how good the news sources are as bases for predictions.

Hehe, that's pretty funny. I guess that amount of isk was worth alot more back then. Any examples of multibillion calamities though?

Two things. One, self-fulfilling prophecy. Two, it's not the sell or buy orders you need to care about, but about transactioned volumes and values.

I did not make anything on this so boo hoo for me. But from 185 to 232 is a 25% gain for some.

Well, you convinced me to sell my stock this weekend, as I'd guessed this little jump would trigger new fluctuations. So, the 2.5m units I'd bought back at 140 sold at 234. Thanks for the warning I suppose, they're going down again though... will re-buy when they pass 160 again on the downstroke :)

Thanks be to Akita T for giving me this tip several weeks ago. Bought a stock of Sylramic Fibers at 110 and watching them go up.
As a still relatively new trader, just being slightly nervous here about when to put my stock up.
