ok simple idea... you have outpost...
if you want to take over one you HAVE to use dusters to take it otherwise you ahve to destroy it...
note if you if choose to destroy it all assests in station will be moved to either closest blue outpost or faction station... PLEX FOR PIZZA!

Load a duster into a Citadel Torp or a Stealth Bomber Bomb. Fire away....
Optionally turn off the multi-megaton warhead. There is a fine line between a post and a signature. |

I'd like to see battles on space stations as well. Imagine two factions fighting for control in strategic stations in DUST while a local coordinated EVE battle takes place outside. Controlling objectives inside the station could affect the way the space battle outside turns out. For example: the fleet controlling the system gains a targeting bonus from the station, unless the invading force gains control or disables that infrastructure of the station, in which case the invading fleet gets the bonus or (if destroyed) no bonuses for anyone.
The outcome of the battle could determine sovereignty of the system. Or maybe its just a pirate raid for resources and isk.
Warfare in EVE could gain some huge depth, and its already incredibly deep. |

Of course not to the extent of EvE. And ships in EvE use space minerals. Perhaps minmatar metals can get a tarnish from specific phenomenon within the red nebulae of their space. Perhaps its less a rust and more of a patina layer that further protects from corrosion. |

I think the red nebula is red because of a high concentration of iron oxide dust in this part of space. It tends to accumulate on ships that spend a lot of time flying through Minmatar space. |
