Don't let Hub Zero die because of this little spat! Talk about BS, firing on CVA (folks who have been welcoming us newbies in 0.0 for god knows how long) is just crazy. Invite more like-minded more pilots down Aaron! Your bound to run into situations worse than this.. gotta persevere!

I'm trying to find out the same thing. ;) but noone will tell me on here. :(
I'm guessing "Hub Zero" is just a name for the (for lack of a better word) 'collective' that a group of mostly new pilots, under the direction of a more experienced pilot and his market have joined forces for mutual safety/prosperity in a null-sec system in the Stain Empire, with no traditional Corp/Alliance structure.
Whoops, you asked "Where" not "What". Sorry. It's early where I am :)

I'll say it, your a racist Second Born/Path0gen, why don't you explain what you meant when you said this?
"OMG i just took a major ****, it kinda looks like arron... I took pictures"
You think we don't know what you meant when you said that?

I wouldn't say that, we're still having a good 'ol time! I am anyway, and the rest of the folks obviously are otherwise they would have left.
edit: I haven't been blowed up yet though :)

I was sort of thinking the same thing. But it's only because people like Path0gen, who think their way is superior, won't leave but feel like it is their duty to oust Aaron, instead of just starting elsewhere. (Or at least that's what he makes it out to be.) I think he has ulterior motives.
I think they did try to leave and start elsewhere, but got chased back to Hub-Zero by some Black-Ops.

From what I can understand , they decided that the system they helped clean out should be the system they stay in. Which I agree with, if they cleared it then let them stay.
Yeah right, they deserve to stay, they lead a fleet of Black-Ops battleships back to Hub-Zero, where they then attacked Aaron.

You guys are so lucky that HUN Reloaded wardecced us, otherwise I'd be down there right now.
We wardecked your industrial alliance also
Anyway feel free to join Arron's "army"
Yeah, he wants to go down there to fight AGAINST Aaron.
gg nub.
Originally by: Securitas Protector This seems to be very interesting and full of drama. It also seems to be run by an someone with a massive ego. Seriously, "rebelling against me?" It's not your system, it's owned by NPC's. For some reason this reminds me massively of Joe Phoenix.
If Stealthfield doesn't have a contract coming up, I may order us to deploy to UF- just to take this guy's ego down a notch.
If we do you can look forward to 30+ stealth bombers and recons in your system.
Good day,

Originally by: PeHD0M Very interesting thread and project, but i think it is useless for most hi-sec dwellers.
This is 0.0 and that system, with npc soverenty, will never be secure enough to support a stable financial grow. And with rules and freedom restrictions it is not attractive for freelancers.
I'd rather be a part of the allience, at least it usually offer more safety.
In a system with sovereignty, I don't care who you are, you can lose it. In a big alliance, you can be booted. This is the safest place for me right now.
Path0gen was spewing alliance politics all over local last night, it was really disturbing. I'll never be a part of that nonsense. I mean this was my first taste of that kind of chat, (Holy crap if anyone ever talks to me like that it'll be the last time they ever talk to me) nothing positive about it at all. If that is what alliance life is like, no thank you.
Today, he had a one man gate camp rolling with drag bubbles (all three of his alts), what a drag. All is saw was an Ibis wreck. Good luck with that.

It went down exactly as Neo put it.
I can't give you my support any longer Aaron. This was a great meeting, almost all of the involved pilots were there in audio, and fleet. I never thought I would see the day, and yet here we were, setting blues.
I had hopped in a Retriever, Erick was already undocking, and then you said "Stand down stay docked", I knew it was over there and then. Sad.
We were asking for a simple one week ceasefire and they gave it to us, you accepted, we all accepted, and then you told us you would attack alongside DPS. We pleaded with you, I've said all I can say, I can't be a part of this any longer.

I'm tired of hearing you say this. I'm not that eager to be ratting all the time, I hardly do it. Neither does Erick.
We "defected" cause you were being an bonehead when people you shot at repeatedly were trying to be nice to you. We left because you were more worried about folks that were not even there (DPS) than the folks that were flying with you.

You didn't give me anything Aaron. I got there myself. I build my own ships, my own ammo, everything I need. Anything I needed from you I paid a fair price for. You gave me 1 indy I think, and I gave you the minerals I hauled, which more than paid for that.
You didn't teach me to rat Aaron. Ratting with you was probably more dangerous than ratting on my own, oh and being in frigs and cruisers yeah that was great (not). I made more ninja-looting the dissidents than I ever did with you, and I did it alone. I've spent alot of time ratting in low-sec and Providence (thanks CVA), I still have ships there now. Get over yourself, I didn't come here to rat. I came to hang out with people, make friends, found 'em!

We were there hoping to get a shot off on you, I could give a **** about a spawn.

What Aaron isn't saying and probably doesn't remember himself is that he asked us to post on the thread . Around Neo's post you'll see other "My time in Hub-Zero" summary posts that were posted at Aaron's request. If you look around the thread you will see this has happened before too, it's easy to spot. Basically if the thread got slow, you will see these types of posts to keep it on the front page.

Shall we say it will happen before the end of this year? Or will it survive the first month of next year? Any bets, gentlemen?
Cant really see that happening, these guys are good people, I doubt very much we would ignore each other, and if we have a problem we will simply talk about it and make sure everyones voice is heard. Ive got no problem with my friends, their objectives are the same as mine.
We are good people Aaron, we did not ignore you, we talked about it, everyone's voice was heard, we had no problems with you. None of it matters though if after talking, and your still the odd man out, you are unwilling to go with whatever the group decides. Your not going to agree on everything.

Your always trying to speak for people Aaron. I have had long convo's with some of the folks currently in UF, they don't have a problem with us. Your not always around, and just as we (the 2nd wave) had conversations with 'the dissidents' after you logged out, they have had conversations with us (good ones too). We didn't tell you, and neither will they, because you will spaz about it. They enjoy the fights, they understand what we are up to. More than one has said they wished they had been there sooner as they only caught the ass-end of it, and that it was fun while it lasted. But you will keep believing they dislike us, you only hear what you want to.

I ran across this tool "Wordle" at an Eve players blog, and thought it was really cool.. when I thought about what I would like to run through it I thought of this thread.
So here is a quick tldr of this thread!
Wordle of Page 1 of this thread
Wordle of Page 60 of this thread
Wow!
Clearly Aaron is still at the center of Hub Zero! (Along with AoV)
I like page 1 though, where "Just guys ratting" is at the center.

One reason for this situation is the low mineral supply....
No.. minerals are ridiculously easy to come by in this system. And you have factory there.. it's the easy life, you will have more minerals than you know what to do with. NPC haulers all over the place all day. Mineral shortage big myth in Hub Zero.

If people had more than enough minerals you would expect some of this oversupply to appear on the market, wouldn't you?
Yet it is hard to get your fingers on a few million Tritanium per day, let alone decent amounts of the less common minerals.
Maybe the price is too low - but why don't people stick up their own sell orders then as they do in fully SE-controlled space?
In the two weeks during which I spent almost all of my online time in UF, I think I saw a pilot undocking in an industrial once - and that was just for regular looting and salvaging.
Even if hauler spawns occur in these mythical quantities (I saw exactly one minor one since I came down to UF), people cannot afford to loot them because the risk is too high.
Only thing I can safely say is that those people who sell minerals to my orders most likely get them from reprocessing rat loot (based on the quantities they sell) - and that source will probably dry up to a significant degree with Tyrannis.
People may put extra minerals on the market, I did not, I gave them to corp. Others may keep them, I know folks who still have a nice stockpile in UF. It's a good spot to manufacture, no reason to get rid of your minerals.
On the frequency of hauler spawns, and safety, well maybe we had better security when we were there. Aaron on course like to try and blow up haulers but he rarely (if ever?) succeeded. Haulers were seen every day, usually multiple times a day, 100 million trit spawns regularly.
Do you have access to EA hangars? I'd look there for your minerals :)
