This whole thing about isk/hour is really pointless to a lot of players. This is especially true to those who only play less than 3 hours a day. I personally have to work 36+ hours a week, with a 3 year old daughter, a wife and other real life matters to deal with. I login maybe twice a week, play for no more than 4 hours per session. I simply have no time to deal with 0.0 stuff. Been there and done that. I know a lot of people, got 47 people on my friend list. None of those guys I know play more than 10 hours a week in total. We often login, chat a bit, wondering around a bit, do a mission or two then logoff.
Surely those 47 people don't reflect the whole population of Eve, but I can so there are very large number of people who play just like we do. Isk/hour is totally meanless to us since most of us play for fun. Our game hours are limited and we just want to play a bit and earn some isk then logoff. I started to play this game since 2005, I've never ever played more than 5 hours per day. So you are telling me mission is rewarding because you can make a few hundred millions per day. Let me ask you, how many people do you know got the kind of free time like you do?
The fact is that to earn such high amount of isk per day, you must put in long hours. For people who don't play much, they will never earn as much as you. If you nerf the mission reward, how do people who got very little free time to ever afford anything decent? Should all of us casual players just quit since we cannot really make much progress? Think about it. This is exactly why CCP keeping the mission reward as it is. Let me tell you, the mission reward used to be far higher. Back in 2006, lvl 4 missions give out more than 40m isk per mission. Today's reward level is about 1/4 of that level, and often lower than that if you keep getting the sucky missions.
Your income level is directly linked to the number of hours you drop in this game. That is the only fact you've provided. Back when I was in true 0.0 system, I can make more with less hours played even with constant combat calls. I say you go to 0.0, get some complex hours in, then come back compare that income with missions. That is some real serious isk! Not to mention officer mods. At the end, I just want to say this:"play your game, worry about yourself and stop worry about how others play their game".
Mission is there for EVERYBODY. There is no bars blocking anybody from doing it! I don't understand why you are so hard on how much isk people are making...
