1. Star Trek Online: WAKE UP CCP - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Let's all agree that STO is nothing like EvE. If anything, STO is pretty much exactly like Champions Online. It's a casual hyper-kinetic PvE fest with a few novel ideas that are worth looking at. One thing that STO doesn't compete with EvE on is ...

2. Containers : autostack and autosort - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
I second that. Seriously! Besides, as far as I can figure it, auto stacking could be handled by the client, and the devs are always saying that inventory calls on the database are a big deal. Seems like this is one of those "little improvements" ...

3. Seeing which skills affect a module - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
While it's not likely to end up on any dev's list of high-priority tasks, I'd really love to see which skills affect a module in the module's info pages. While the skills themselves do indicate which classes of modules they impact, there are plent...

4. Heimdall Concept Art - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Is it possible for someone from CCP to post the final image from the Fanfest concept art panel? The YouTube video is totally cool, and it'd be nice to see the actual image that came out of it :)

5. Selling Skills - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Wow, 24 hours and no negative comments. That's pretty much an admission that this is a reasonably conceived and structured idea. Sadly it's unlikely to ever be contemplated/implemented by the developers - it's just way too niche to get attention ...

6. Selling Skills - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Well, this has turned into a good discussion :) @McEi... Good post, addressed as follows... (1) Agreed, and addressed in a previous response (not having the prerequisites is the same as buying a skill book you can't use - it just sits in your i...

7. Selling Skills - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
But you can already "have it all" right now if you've got the ISK to buy a pre-existing character from a vet. And you can get the ISK legitimately by buying RMT PLEX and selling them on the market. The whole point of this is to *not* go down that...

8. Selling Skills - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Sorry Mav, I guess I figured that it was self-evident that you wouldn't be able to ingest a skill that you didn't have the pre-req's for. I think that's a given. It's no different than buying a skill book that you can't train - it just sits in you...

9. Also Known As - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
(points at own name... sighs...) I can change my face for ten bucks. I would be happy to spend ten bucks to change my name. That's money in CCP's pocket. And I'm perfectly happy to see "name changed" in my employment history and deal with the in...

10. Selling Skills - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
For those that didn't just facepalm, thanks. While "a major recode of the entire game" is a hugely inaccurate statement, I hadn't considered the cascading issue of skill dependence (not to mention items dependent on skills - though that is alread...

11. Selling Skills - in Player Features and Ideas Discussion [original thread]
Before you pop a blood vessel, hear me out... We purchase skill books. We train these skills for some period of time. Time has value. Many players train skills that they realize later are unnecessary given the career they have settled into. Many ...
