22. Absolution lvl4 - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
DPS: as much as possible. Remember, offense is best defense. Tank: 400DPS? Try and see for yourself. Unfortunately Abso isn't an ideal ship for lvl4s simply due to its appx. 30km range on lasers. A significant percentage of NPCs prefer the 40-50k...

23. Aggression(Aggro) in Level 5 Missions - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
The spawns differ per mission. Convoy attack, for example, has no spawns, just the initial wave. Other missions have regular triggers. There's one with 5 timed waves every 1 min on average (30sec-2 min interval). Eve survival is your friend.

26. Passive Tank Overkill? - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
Most hisec missions put out 400-500DPS. So yes, it's an overkill. Your two setups are deep into lvl5 mission tank.

30. Numbers on level 5 tanking - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
Ok, so you must be an alt from another thread with exact same "passive tanked drake and a shield rep Domi". As I've replied there...you don't need passive recharge on the Drake, just buffer. So stuff BCSes into lows on it and fit extender rigs. Yo...

31. Level 5 Fits help - Dominix and Drake - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
That is a one lame ass fit for a DUO of ships. Why exactly do you need passive shield regen to go along a 3RR Domi? Domi: That's a normal logistics fit, so you're fine there. Drake: Fit buffer tank with DPS. That means fitting BCSs in lows, 1 LSE...

32. Dual boxing lvl 5 missions: Which two ships? - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
Unless you enjoy having 2 setups go with one that gives you versatile damage types. NM sucks against Angels/Matars and there are quite a few missions against those.

Soloing lvl5 missions with passive tank is fail to begin with. There is no financial incentive since your ISK/hr is in the john.

Most missions have 80cap/s drain (2 towers). Your bigger problem will be dealing correct damage...NM doesn't do well against Kin/T or Angels.

Originally by: Contralto I played with a Tengu Tanker, but damage is worse, with no drones for elite frig removal. Any 2nd ship you bring will be able to provide 5 light drones to take care of the scrambler frigs.

38. Ishtar or Rattlesnake for Level 4/5 - in Missions & Complexes [original thread]
You need 2 ships for lvl5s. One tank/DPS, one logistics (BC works fine too, as long as it can rep). If you were to solo lvl5s you'd be better off in a Rattler simply b/c you'll do more DPS. RS can passive tank just fine. Ishtar works for soloing ...
