Edited by: Arminaus on 14/02/2009 19:30:37 i'm hosting a webbased profit tool for manufacuring at Eve Industry (formally crimson)
Its still a "work in progress" but it has the functions for t1 and t2 blueprints.
It takes into account the players skills in: Industry, Production Efficiency, Accounting, Broker Relations.
The Blueprint Reasearch of: Production Efficiency, Materials Efficiency.
also Takes into account: Blueprint Cost, Number of Runs, Estimated Sell Price,
and various station information such as: Pesonal Standing, Good Discount, Job Install cost, Cost Per Hour,
All this to calculate:
Material Cost (per run): Material Cost (all runs): Units Produced: ProductionTime: Production Cost: Total Estimated Sales: Taxes: *Broker Fees: Profit: Blueprint Cost: Total Manufacture Profit:
Hope this helps people make some nice profit... please let me know what you think...

Calculating build costs is relatively easy, and there are already lots of programs and spreadsheets that do this. What would be far more valuable would be a tool that simultaneously calculates profit per slot-hour (and possibly also rate of return ) for every item in the game and returns them sorted by profitability. For bonus marks, link it to the www.eve-central.com api rather than using baseprices for materials & sell values, so users don't have to enter everything themselves. --- Can't afford that BPO? I must say, I do like your idea. Im going to look into how to implement such a feature into the site... (Watch this space)

This exists. It's called the A-sheet.

Looks good, a webbased version of this to be used ingame would be useful.

Im currently looking for a handful of applicants to help with a beta sign up and material price/Eve-Central tests soon. If you fancy it. See Linkage. Let me know.

I did this. There's a problem though in how the EVE-Central data is incomplete, many items don't return meaningful data through the API.
I will say this though, build Large Hull Repairer I's.
