so theres nothing wrong with the computer or the client, the most likely problem is some setting got screwed up when we forced the client to close CCP seems to like hiding settings files in bizare places on your computer... i finally found em here... (on windows vista) C:\Users\**user-name**\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_(x86)_eve_tranquility\settings only solution seems to be deleting all the files in here

Hi - I've been having the same problem, but on Windows XP... I'm lookin around for other hidden eve files, but I already cleared the Cache and Settings. Any idea what else I could delete to get this thing working?

C:\Documents and Settings\*USERNAME*\Local Settings\Application Data\CCP\EVE\c_program_files_ccp_eve_tranquility\settings
Local settings is a hidden folder, but if you type in the above or set 'view' (located in *tools, Folder options, View) to show all hidden folder/files you should be ok.
and thanks for the help, had this problem also. |

Thanks - but no good. Those were the settings that I already deleted. I'm pretty sure the problem is QR105 - this started just after I patched. I uninstalled and reinstalled the old version 72263, and got the client started fine... but of course I couldn't DO anything until I patched, which got this problem back. I've cleared the settings and cache, updated drivers, reinstalled the patch and reinstalled the whole updated program. I don't really know whats next.
