Lady Destruction Caldari Club Bear	Posted - 2009.02.05 13:18:00 - [1] I can't understand how can you brag about doing something that low. Yes, i am talking about goons/mittens. This should be too low for even you goons. There should be some limits to anything andyou've just crossed all the limits imo. BOB you are and always will be in my heart as the best alliance in eve, although i've never been in the alliance, but i always dreamed about being a member of the mighty BOB. I really hope that you guys are going to make a new alliance (incase CCP refuses to see the truth and roll the server back) and kick the **** out of the goons arses, they deserve it and even with this big loss i am sure you will be able to do that. Goons should not play eve at all after what they did, every1 and their dog should shoot goons now for exploiting some unperfect game mechanincs. go BOB (or however will you be called now). I wish you all the luck and i hope you recover from this. This is my personal opinion, it does not mean that my corp is of the same opinion as me.

The tacktics used by Goon are the same as one used by BoB themselves against ASCN and others against their enemies. Goon just went one step further and disbanded the allience. CCP have never rolled back in the past and have always condoned the use as spys as a normal part of any war. So no times for tears as bob will sort themselves out, they have the isk to do it and now there is a new target for our guns....Goons is their name :)

Because it took an action like this to actually bring BOB down(sorta). I mean evidently just a simple invasion and stuff would not have done it. I would say that it does turn a new chapter in EVE. And would imagine that the convection that some have been fighting GOON with now just got stronger. I think it might be compared with when (back in the days of earth(do I have to speak in game past tense?))Japan attacked the US. They woke a sleeping giant at the time. I would imagine that GOON might find that they just perhaps woke one. This will add a new flavor and dynamic to the play of the current landscape.

A simple invasion only killed one or 2 alliances it appears. D2 LV Even the mighty BOB couldnt kill the Goons when they were just noobs flying tech 1 frigs.

Well no alliance and or corp can be truely killed given that there is NPC space, stations, etc. Its simply comes down to the will to continue a cause. GOON have endured in their cause even if I don't agree with the tactics used. But also ex-BOB did as well. (waiting for the new name). Those facts cant be denied. It goes to show that who is in the power seats have to be chosen carefully. Who knows even GOON with all of their security are at jeapordy. (I am sure this will start some responses). Those at the top me thinks needs to be someone you can perhaps go visit in person..

There is a difference between metagaming to spy on TS and read forums but disbanding the whole alliance and literally stripping it of all its space is epic. Everyone even the small fry alliances have spies they use to read forums listen on enemy TS, a lot of people are just being bitter because BoB were the first to admit they used it, and got brainwashed by their leadership into thinking they were the only ones that did it,(some still believe their alliances dont spy) Way too many hypocrites mostly bitter ex-ASCN that think BOB are the biggest metagamers and cheaters, look in the mirror, you just basically ecame the new BoB, but with more meta. I think this game has reached the critical point where CCP has to do somethin about metagaming and change their policy because what you have now is basically the whole game is broken, every single ingame mechanic is pointless since the victor will be the group that has the most access to meta resources. And its just going to keep escalating, What is next? isk laundering alliances payin off devs with rl money?? bringing down a whole cluster or the server to defend a tower or stn system? Please link your posts where you complain about TAFKAB using metagaming tactics to win. We'll wait all day. Not taking any sides, BoB did it first, everyone else does it now. Not saying any side is right or wrong. Yes game is broken in the sense that you can use all the ingame mechanics to make sure somethin doesnt happen, but whoever is your enemy will just achieve it through out of game resources, if you dont think that is broken then I dont know what.

Thetys Caldari Breed of Malakka	Posted - 2009.02.05 15:24:00 - [27] meta gaming is a really good indicator for the games quality. the more meta gaming, the better the game. whenever someone asks me about the stuff i do in my spare time i never say i play eve, i call it a hobby, that's slightly more then "just" a game, you play wow or cs, but you do not just play eve.
