Ok can i get an opinion on this setup im currently considering implementing. If anyone can improve it or highlight flaws then please do i look forward to constructive feedback.

Faction X-Large.
Don't use an AB on a command ship.
You need a damage control.
So, something like this:
[Sleipnir, 425] Power Diagnostic System II Damage Control II Gyrostabilizer II Gyrostabilizer II Gyrostabilizer II

the neut or ganglink are much better in the utility high than an unbonused heavy missile launcher.
AB and scrambler is a possibility in the mids too, viable in low sec i hear as you'll make it back to teh gate. 220's over 425's for the tracking any day.
if you have tacklers then an extra invuln II is nice for overloading.

I recall something along the lines of:
2x Cap Flux II 3x Gyro II
2x Shield Boost Amp II Invul II Large Booster II Warp Disruptor II
7x 425mm 1x Something
2x CCC
Crystal Set Drones
Maybe it fits. I can't be totally sure as I'm at work and don't remember my old setup.
Now I mostly use a passive setup (tantamount to sacrilege, I know) for lazy gate camping.

it would be nice to know what are your intentions towards that sleipnir. are you planning on going alone with her? or is it more like a friends reunion? by your fit, i guess its more the you two alone.
i think the other posters have already given you ideas, but there is one thing that no one has said yet. in my opinion, third gyro is not worth it, cause it gets a near 50% penalty. i would fit a damage control, or a nanofiber.
and second. again, in my opinion, if you are going to rely on a booster with bateries for cap, you might as well abstein from using PDS, and fit something else there, like speed, or agility. |

Few guidelines to get you started:
X-Large booster Always Invul over SBA. Invul gives EHP in addition to tanked damage Always MWD |

fivetide humidyear setup is the way to go most of the time... solo or small gang you want that neut.. you dont need to spend 100m on dg xl booster but then you need a co-pro for cpu:
7x 220mm ac, neut mwd, point, xl booster, invul, med injector 3x gyro, dcu, co-pro
I would fit atleast one rig that reduces the cap need for xl booster :) other rig options are kinetic shield resist (t2) or falloff rig..

Winner. Don't like fitting an AB though because sometimes you can't get in range quickly enough to scramble, and I hate it when they are able to run. But I totally agree on the 220s over 425s statement...the tracking totally makes up for the ~5dps/gun increase in damage of the 425s. _______________

I hit out to 40km with Barrage just the other night. An MWD simply isn't worth the penalties and is wasted slot on a Sleipnir. I'm consistently left wondering if the people who obsess about MWDs have ever PvP'd in Eve. When was the last time you fought a target that was significantly outside disruptor range?
I also don't understand the obsession with the XL Booster. The only XL booster setup I like so far is the most recent one that also has a lot of faction gear ( $$$ ). |

No offense, but I have 4x the kills you do and I didn't sit in Rancer to get them.
I don't PVP in low sec often, so MWD is mandatory.

No offense, but please tell me you aren't serious.
The only possible reason for not fitting a speed mod is if you camp a gate, or act as tanked bait. If you seriously plan on roaming without a speed mod, you might just as well self-destruct. |
