Can we have a targeting alarm to supplement ''yellow boxing white crossing visual'', currently you have to have 'auto target back one' to have an audio warning. Auto target back has a few problems such as if target is out of your range you won't get any audio untill you either getting smashed by weapons or your going into armor.
If I'm missing something really obvious here and this audio is allready avalible please rip the **** while including how I activate this warning. |

some other kind of cool alert would be nice tbh. Maybe have the edges of your screen blink yellow/red?? On holiday. -áIn some other world. Game already has warnings about being targeted. You can either look at your overview or slap auto targeting back on. |

Would be a pretty cool Idea would be helpful if you werent paying attention I know the hp ones have saved me a few times while watching tv ratting. I think It would get to be a bit ridiculous if you were in a full blown fleet. |

The HP warnings are great... my fiance thinks its hilarious as I go tearing through the house at warp speed cause of a blaring alarm...
Not much help in PvP/ganking though... and if your watching TV or grabbing a beer while not in a safe then its your own fault your in a new clone...

Fully customisable alert systems would be a nice feature but obv not a priority. For example when your buffer armor tanking do you really need a low shield warning? Would be nice to deactivate. |

Hey here's an idea... if you turn the sound on you can hear the noise for being targetted. Now if that's a group of catalysts or a tornado who's doing it, it's not up to CCP to give you a warning when you alt-tab out and aren't paying attention to your surrounding Dscan or local. |

You can turn off and/or adjust the low shield/armor/hull alert. there is 4 small lines that kinda look like = in the low right corner of the HUD that you can right-click. |

I'd like something like the Gundam alert. If possible, even ask Capcom if we could use the same sound. Pure awesome.
Right now, I'd like a way to make my ship sounds NOT dissapear just because I zoomed out. |

I agree, OP. I also think we need a "someone's on same field as me alert", like maybe if the game bleeps a loud sound to tell me when other players are on field, cause when I'm pvp'ing, last thing I need is trying to notice if other people just got on field, it's crazy! |

You already can. There is a small white box to the lower right of your cap, right click on it, click on "Audio Alerts" and customize/disable from there.

This is EVE, and Being afk or watching telly or drinking beer while watching **** is DANGEROUS!!!! if you are not concentrating on EVE then the likelyhood is you will get blowded up! Loud alarms will make me miss something important on the telly / spill my beer / tug too hard and potentially damage myself!
And before anyone says, i like the word blowded
After a failed career as a comedian i decided to take up piloting. My flying techniques have got more laughs than my jokes ever did.....

Extra points for CCP if they make it sound like the "red alert" klaxon from Star Trek! "....as if 10,058 Goon voices cried out and were suddenly silenced." |

Game's easy enough without people who got suicide ganked demanding that they have an extraneous alarm that mainly applies to people who want to alt-tab and not pay attention.
If you don't like losing your Hulk/Mackinaw/Covetor then play the game. Also, those sounds would be bloody ****** for the people who pvp, especially with blobs or gate camps, imagine if you had it go off 20 times in a minute or more because a cyno popped (of course, turn the sound off).
**** some people don't like being responsible in a game that is advertised as sandbox gameplay. You shouldn't play if you think people being creative is a problem in your little corner of the game. |

What purpose would this serve? There are already plenty of visual and audio indicators available to let you know both when you are being targeted, about to be shot at, and being shot at. If those aren't enough then you are both blind and deaf.
Adding stuff just because you think it would be cool is a great way to screw things up. If you have an idea it should either solve a problem or serve a function that no other thing serves. This idea has neither.
Just for reference, lets look at all the audio and visual warnings.
Visual -Flashing lock icons on screen and overview -Yellow boxes on screen and overview -Red boxes on screen and overview -Damage information -HP bars -Stuff hitting your ship -Stuff flying out of other peoples ships
Audio -Locking sounds -Sound of your ship being hit -Gunshots/missile sounds -Heavy shield damage alarm -Heavy armor damage alarm -Heavy hull damage alarm
There is quite a lot here. Even a completely new player can tell something is going wrong with all of these warnings. What you are suggesting is helpful, yet 100% unnecessary.
Also imagine what would happen in a fleet fight! The Epilepsy Foundation would not approve!
