You mean, like, will it cut through duct tape and rope and make quick work of a dress?

(kidding) bwahahah

Edited by: Bellum Eternus on 10/01/2009 23:33:41 There's a CCP Eve Spyderco knife?
Edit:
I just looked at the Eve store. Um, bleh. Not worth the money, even for the bottle opener. Looks really junky TBH.
Spydercos are mediocre to fair knives, depending on how much money you spend, and this is coming from someone (me) who used to run a custom knife shop. I used to own a few before there was anything better to own. Now I don't own any. They're not too bad though. The one in the pic in the Eve store looks pretty bad however.

I've seen the model the eve one is based on. Horrible knife in my opinion. It's pretty bulky since they've adjusted the frame to hold a cigarette lighter and the blade is one of those 1 inch jobs that are almost impossible to sharpen. For 25 bucks you can get a much better knife |

As a (very) small, compact little knife ... maybe.
At twice the price of other Firebyrd knives ... no.
Spyderco as a brand ... meh. |

That was my initial reaction as well.
I have a Spyderco Atlantic Salt Yellow knife. I used to work as a deckhand on tugboats and it worked really well - it always kept a razor-sharp edge. Of course, I got it because I wanted a knife that wouldn't corrode when I got sea water on it.
That said, this knife is a joke. Non-locking; 43mm blade; lighter holder...
I'd be interested if it was an 80mm locking blade - without the extra crap - that looked Eve-ish.
