Recently I did a bunch of COSMOS missions in Gallente space, and received a bunch of BPCs. Normally I would just auction them on contracts and rely on the people who produce those items to find them, but there is a problem:
Most of the BPCs I received are not an item type you could search for under the contract system. I can search for the item they produce, just not the blueprints. For example this is what I get when I enter "tracking link" into the item type box:
Note that I can search for blueprints for the T1 and T2 modules, but not for the others.
I think that it might be possible to find the contracts if you browse for them, but that would require me to auction them in a station where people are looking for them. Any suggestions ?
The other option I have is to find an industry player, give him the required skillbook* then have him produce the items so I can auction them off as they can be searched for. But selling the BPCs would be much easier.
Are there any options I missed ? How well would the options compare to each other ?
*The book goes for about 100mil, though I do have one as a reward from one of the missions. ---------------------------------------------- I support skill queues |

There's also a Blueprint trade channel, link the contract there.

Would that really be worth it when the BPCs require items only available in the Gallente COSMOS constellation ?

I've tried that selling other items while watching the current bids. No bids coming in. Then I stopped for a day or so, and bids arrived. So I don't think linking is worth the effort. ---------------------------------------------- I support skill queues |

It would be wrong to say that linking the Contracts in the trade channels will guarantee sales, but it has definitely generated some sales for me.
For selling my own Cosmos BPCs, I found that big bundles were the most efficient use of my time. Some BPCs I would sell for 1 million ISK on their own, a few for a lot more. So if you have say 80 of them, just make a single contract for 239 million ISK and you'll save a lot of time and contract slots while getting the same magnitude of ISK.
Even if it takes three weeks to sell (i.e., you have to re-list the Contract once), this is much, much easier than doing a lot of individual contracts.
Make sure you put the word Cosmos somewhere in the description field of the Contract.

Fair enough. My thoughts on it are that the people who want these BPCs the most will be actively searching for them, meaning they won't need to see the link. And I can't really be bothered linking them.

True. But I'm not an industrial character so I don't have any other use for my contract slots, and I do have 5 of them. I also have another stable source of income, so I don't need this ISK in a hurry. So I have no need to sell them quickly.

Thank you. This should help a lot. ---------------------------------------------- I support skill queues |

Not necessarily. There are people (like myself) who will buy anything if the price is right. I wouldn't be actively looking for whatever cosmos BPCs you're selling, but if I see them linked in the blueprints channel or jita local, and the price is right, I'll buy them up anyway. Resellers don't care too much what you're selling - they only care that they might be able to make a buck on it :)

My take is that there probably isn't anyone in game actively looking for them. It seems like a very eclectic market. You'd pick up product only when someone felt like doing the particular COSMOS missions and happened to auction off the BPCs rather than make something or let it rot in a station for a few years. You're much more likely to get impulse sales from the BP channel or Jita local.
Incidentally, that's how I sold off a pile of BPs for my corp a few weeks back. I dumped them into a week long auction contract in Jita. Five days later, there was a couple of bids on them (not that anyone is excited by week long auctions either). But after I pasted links to them in local and the blueprint trade channel, I picked up several new bids immediately.

An even easier method of selling cosmos bpc's is to list them on the sell forum here and let people bid on them individually or as a a group. Very little maintenance and you can contract to the individual who bids instead of spaming trade channels.
