Im thinking of bring some skill books to low-sec/0.0 for sale to those knowledge starved pirates/normal ppl. my biggest issue is where can i place them to be sold? my alliance is not low-sec/0.0 based, and therefore i have no inherent access to stations, in particular, in 0.0.
So basically im offering my services to corps/alliances, to bring skill books in your area. which skills would you be interested in, and where would you like them placed on sale?

Edited by: Lui Kai on 05/01/2009 13:16:43 No alliance is going to set an unknown blue - especially not so he can just wander around marketscrewing people on skill books ;)
It's a good venture, though - I've money doing the same. The trick is a cov ops, and NPC 0.0 or Providence.
Edit: I'll give away a free bit of market advice and tell you - Providence is the golden nugget in the above statement. 95% of the people who live there are clueless newb carebears thrilled to be in 0.0, with no idea how to actually be self sufficient. Wide ranges of skillbooks have a decent turnover - especially the deeper into the region you get. ----------------

a wide range of books, thats good advice, thanks.
i have a covops and some NPC stations scouted, so i think this will be my first step.
is a providence really necessary? will the volume of books even come close to filling the hold? i was thinking of using a transport ship (w covops cloak ofc), as the next step in maximising profits/time. |

set up an alt in the stations your going to sell from and use courier contracts to take your skill books for you.
This will remove most of the time involved and with skill books being so small and mark ups so big you can offer good premiums on the job to get it done quickly

No, not providence the ship - Providence the region. It's "Open" 0.0 held by CVA - and is typically the first place misguided newer corps wind up going after they get stomped into dust in NPC - or sometimes even before. :p
But, long story short - there's a lot of new players in that region that have no clue what they're doing, and thus are a great market for skillbooks. Add to it there's an outpost in bloody near every system, and you're fairly set. ----------------
