Edited by: Irish Blend on 04/01/2009 10:20:49 Edited by: Irish Blend on 04/01/2009 10:19:29 The 10045th Logistics Battalion is part of an alliance holding SOV in Immensea, and is looking for a new alliance. The current group is just too disfuntional to be successful, unable to kick POS's from our own space, and unable to field reliable defense ops for our own spaces.
*Several member corps have left the 0.0 space after being unable to handle POS fuel or refueling *Ice mining operations have been failures with them usually ending in mining pilots running to safety when rats or reds spawn *They usually end in ship losses *A member corp called for a vote of no confidence, left the alliance and with 3 weeks of free time formed a new alliance and is actively recruiting with our own space *The new neighbors have taken over SOV in one of the alliance systems *Three times an op has been formed to kick them out only to be cancelled due to a lack of pilots, battleships or capitals to answer the call *The latest attempt to form an op to go after the new neighbors ended with another CEO once again blowing his own smoke about "I'm calling in markers and we will have dreads here to do it for us"
With a group unable to handle its own space, and the risk of UNL or CVA deciding that the alliance relationship isn't worth keeping friendly when we cant even hold SOV in our own spaces, or -A- taking advantage of this, its time to look at jumping ship.
Is this all priavte info? Heck no. The alliance now taking over our space is actively advertising that they can offer 0.0 space to get new corps. They are flaunting it and suffering no recourse for it
Within my own corp, miners have been frustrated being the only ones for days mining the belts
Combat pilots answer the call to X up and are alone. Having a red run through the system just to play tag shouting out where the red are and unable to ctually I don't know - fight them - gets old really fast.
This place is falling apart, if it ever really was stood up.
Yes, this is the fun and the downside of being in 0.0 - its hard, difficult and there are problems at ever turn. But when an FC gets 4 people, or the larger one later gets 1 BS, it just isn't going to happen. I know it. And unfortunately the corps that I have been talking with about joining the alliance know it and point it out to us when they look at the picture.
Too many corps full of alts and people staying in empire until its safe isn't going to make things happen. And as a CEO, you have to reach a point where you stop sending your own people into the frey to find out things are messed up. So while every alliance is disfunctional like any family, I am looking for one that isn't trying to blow smoke up its own skirts crying we are 400 strong in our coalition. 400 strong can field a weekly ice mining op.
Heck 400, even 200 strong can go after reds invading their own space and not just scream for duck and cover in Alliance chat.
Run its a single RED in our system
The people and corps that have left the alliance and coaltion knew it, we are just getting tired of staying with the ship and rolling up our pants to our knees to handle the incoming water on the sinking ship.
I like cats, especially with General Tso's sauce http://www.skamarakas.com/jim

Irish, I'm dumbfounded as to how you can post this kind of garbage, for one, and fail to appreciate leadership principles that would REQUIRE YOU to abandon your maliciousness and constant morale-busting rants.

Thats about where the post should have ended.

Sadly this is what happens when you don't find reliable corporations to be part of the alliance, or have reliable pilots in those corporations. Grab the cargo and jump ship mates, the nullsec is a loss until you come back with more pilots to defend the place.
